sorry just had to share booked our upcoming sept trip with thomson port orleans riverside 14 day tix so got free quick service dining so i upgraded to the ddp no probs or so i thought rang disney yesterday to book cinderella table and disney have my room and ticket booking but no dining so rang thomson they will look into it and ring back they rang back good news we have put the quick service on your booking and it comes out cheaper £190 but i wanted to upgrade to ddp oh i will have to look into it and call you back no call came so i rang back she said i rang thomson an they are looking into it i thought they were thomson so i am still waiting for a call back if by the time they sort it i can't get cinderella table i shall be more than a little miffed sorry to rant just had to share, don't you just love thomson

How annoying - can't you book the table regardless - or would you have to pay upfront?

If it's any consolation, I had a hassle along those lines (different situation though but also re. the DDP) and I booked with Disney UK.

It seems that travel agents here have some difficulties in getting the information across to the US. I like to call it "flawed systems". I am seriously considering booking next years trip with Disney US - just so that I know I get what I want. I hope they sort it for you. It should be relatively straight forward. If you don't get CRT you should see if your insurance covers you for thomsons' mistake

I though they only put a hold on the card for the amount and take payment when you arrive. If you pay with a different method (i.e. dining plan) when you get there then they don't charge your card. If you don't show, there is a penalty amount charged. Or am I wrong?
