Hey guys,
I haven't been posting much lately, but I have been watching... always watching (sorry couldn't help myself
).
So this year I am hoping (funds and schedule allowing) to do both the Goofy and the Space Coast full (in November), so I was trying to organize my training runs, and I have it all planned up till the space coast, but there is 6 weeks inbetween that and Goofy and I am not sure what I should do, training wise, during that period. I know I will need to recover, but I will also need to maintain. I also have a half during that period.
This is what I have so far; will this do me any good? (this is just my sunday long runs)
Week 1 Post SC - 6 miles
Week 2 - 1/2 marathon
Week 3 - 6 miles
Week 4 - 10 miles
Week 5 - 6 miles
Week 6 - Goofy
I know I should probably put in another 18+ but I know me and I just don't think I will have it in me after already doing a 20 + a full. I also am really prone to overuse injuries.
What do y'all think - will I be in OK shape for Goofy?
Also - I have a 1/2 planned the weekend before the Space coast, will this be too much for me?
