Does anyone know how to remove the oily stain from gel candles? DD spilled some on her new jeans and we just have not been able to remove the stain. We have tried Shout, Zout, and laundry detergent, and have not put them into the dryer, but nothing has helped. It has gotten a little lighter, but still is oily feeling, and can still see it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The only thing I can suggest is to try a non aeresol (sp?) hairspray. Spray it on, let it dry, then wash. It may work. Good luck!

Try Goo-Gone. It is a citrus-oil based cleaner that gets out all sorts of sticky, oily residues.

I use Murphy's Oil to get grease or oil out of clothes.

I have also used Goo Gone on clothing and it has worked great!

Good Luck!!

Thanks, they are going to get treated again with something, I just have to see what else we have around........maybe I need to go to Home Depot tonight and look around.

Simple Green is also a good de-greaser. My mom used to use it on my brother's work clothes (marine engine mechanic)

RIT dye also makes something to get greasy stains out of clothing, I have to use it on my husbands work clothes.
