A little Disney magic for you this morning

I have a little cousin who is in Orlando for a Make-A-Wish trip. His mom has been updating her Facebook page and thought this was great:

I noticed Anna and Elsa were only at Epcot until 4:20... Jackson kept saying he wanted to meet them. We got to the beginning of where the worlds start at 4:10... And I pretty much ran through Mexico to get to Norway where they were. A lady saw us and grabbed us, took us through the store to the beginning of the line where we could meet them. We were the last ones. He was so lucky. We have been treated like royalty since we've been here. There was such a huge line though.

And his Grandmother posted on her Facebook page:

Cannot believe how wonderful we have been treated, it is a child's dream come true

And you know, it brings a tear to even write this, but his wish was to ride with Mickey on any attraction. They said that is a very difficult thing to do (because characters no longer ride attractions), but would try to make it happen.

Maybe a Main Steet Vehicle, like a Jitney or Trolley? If they pull this off, please post a picture! Best of luck to him!

Great Story! This is the type of customer service I expect from Disney. This is what makes them stand out far above any of their competition.

Hopefully these photos will get this thread going because I hate to see all the FP+ threads going crazy while a great story like this just languishes.

Anyways, he did get to ride with a character. Mickey was busy at the time so he got to spend time with Aladdin and Jasmin. How cool that they were able to make this happen:


What a perfect ride for the three of them. You can just see Jasmin in the back of the carpet:


Then later in the day he had an opportunity to meet a bunch of characters in Cinderella's Castle after they had finished the Castle Forecourt Show. The CM in the photo is the wonderful person who arranged this whole experience that will be cherished for years. Just an absolutely beautiful and magical time for that kid. Thank you Disney!!

What a great story, I'm so glad he was able to ride with a few characters!

I love Disney, and we are busy planning our next trip, but it's too easy to get caught up in the hype and lose perspective of what a blessing it is!
