OK, does your minimum (ie-25,000) include JUST the things on the day of your event or can that include welcome dinners and such? Just wondering............

it is things that are on your wedding day only. includes photos/video (done by disney), cake, transportation, music, characters, food, drink, etc.
any event on any other day doesnt count even if its to do with the wedding

Thanks! I guess I have to figure out a way to spend more $$$ :lmao: My wishbook is a little low!

its another one of those disney depends situations...
Rehearsal dinner at the Attic was included in our budget
when we decided it cost to much and switched to Ohana’s it came out:confused3 ...It ended up if our planner booked it ...it was included..
if we booked then it didnt...

Illuminations parties on different days can count...as long as your planner sets it up....also if you have the limo take the party different places during your stay (ie airport) your planner can book that and include it....

Also MK photo session count

My planner booked our rehearsal dinner at 'Ohana and it is counting toward our minimum. I wish I knew about this and all the other "hidden" fees there would be b/c I easily could have had my wedding on a Friday or Sunday. Oh well, you live and learn right? :)

i third that our rehearsal dinner counted towards our minimum because our planner booked it - it was in our BEO

See, that might work out in our favor. We are having only about 35-40 ppl and plan on having a rehearsal/welcome dinner (hopefully at GF Summerhouse) and a fFarewell Brunch (Mad Hatter tea Party at GF). It's pretty hard (unless you start adding ridiculous stuff that I don't want) to meet the 25,000 minimum for the just the wedding day. For example, I would rather have lots of characters for the whole weekend than have really expensive decorations for just one event. Our budget for the entire VR is now $50,000. But we are going to stay at WDW for about 2 weeks and that is included as well.

Soooo, as long as the planner plans the events it can count. Very good to know. Ladies, thank you as always. You are a never ending source of kindness and information:goodvibes
