Just wanted to share our story with all you disers out there in case this happens to you.
On our last day we had devised a great plan to hit everything we needed to do before we left to fly home. We only had a limited time in the park at MK so we wanted to make the most of the time we had.
Anyway, my sister and I split up to go get fastpass for space mountain and splash mountain and my husband took to girls up to dumbo. We split our fastpasses because we can to a baby swap with DD3. Anyways we were excited because we were doing GREAT on time and had not hit any snags until we went to space mountain. We had saved this till last because we all wanted to leave on a space mountain high!!
We get to the fastpass line and show our tickets and the cm tells us to just hold on to them and come back in 2hrs. 2 hours
The ride was not working. So we are all very sad and upset because we cannot ride space mountain. So I decided to go speak with the cm and tell her our situation, she told me to go over to the buzz lightyear ride and see if they could help us out. We all troop over to buzz lightyear and I speak with the nicest cm at the fastpass line and explain our situation and guess what, he lets us all in the buzz lightyear ride and he let us keep the space mountain fastpasses 
This was fantastic because we were not going to go on buzz because of time constraints and not enough tickets for fastpassess.
As we came out I gave our fastpasses to a family of 3 and they seemed very excited.
