A little bit of Disney luck today

I went to the McDonalds drive thru today to grab a quick lunch. As the cashier hands me my change he says, "You're in luck, you get the last one" and hands me an extra bag. I asked "Last one of what?" and he said "We cleaned out the shed the other day and found some promotional glasses, you got the last one that we had left." So I drive home, not thinking much of my new free glass, figuring it was another McDonalds plastic piece of garbage.

I get home, open up the bag and find this gem:

It was an actual glass Disney tumbler! I couldn't believe my luck, being such a massive WDW, and MGM Studios fan. (Yes, I know it's Disney's Hollywood Studios now, but I can't let go of the past) It made my day, I'm glad I got hungry when I did!

And ... it happend on Hollywood's biggest night of the year: The Oscars!!! I say go out and buy a lottery ticket - you're having a good day!!!

I found an almost complete set of those glasses at my local Salvation Army last winter. The only one that was missing was Magic Kingdom.

It was cool of them to give them away, wish the McDonald's around here would do fun stuff like that!

I LOVE those glasses. I have a set too(I love the square shape). You know what's weird...I found another set at an antiques market. 2000 is antique? Collectable for sure, but...
