A lesson in procrastination and aspergers!

Well folks, 2 days and counting we will be leaving for our drive from upstate NY to HOME!

BUT and there is a BIG but here... I still haven't packed, I've planned to, I promise I did... but I'm not packed.... Story of my life plan to and unprepared!

A little info on us (and if someone can guide me how to put photos on, I will be glad to do that too!

My daughter and I live and love Disney, it is the air that we breathe. Hubby just is there for the ride... the master procrastinator..

Jenna is 10 and has aspergers, ocd, adhd, bad reactions to colordyes in her food. She has sensory problems and cannot wait on lines. She loves to talk and talk and talk and hug and hug and hug and touch , touch touch. There are no strangers in her life, only friends she hasn't met yet.

Me, age unknown! lol, let's just say I also have a 32 year old and 24 year old twins, who definitely don't share the love of Disney. I think they were implaneted by aliens! I'm a stay at home mom for the first time in my life.

Of course we have DH 42, who couldn't care less and is just along for the ride and just wants to make "his girls" happy. An example of this: Me "o0o0 hun, I just read on the disboards"... DH," oh no, please don't tell me ANOTHER bounceback" Me: "YUP you don't mind right, we'll just book it, and then decide" Hubby "whatever" with that look in his eyes that say he knows it's a losing battle.

We will be in CBR on the 23rd of August...

Friday August 21st bring Bandit to the Kennel, he is our 90 pound rescue dog. Part Australian Shepard, part Border Collie that we adopted 4 years ago so he could "herd" our daughter. Unfortunately he has gotten much bigger than we thought. And has a mind of his own. Gentle as can be, he can scare anyone by the look of him and his bark. He does keep Jenna in our yard though, and we always knkow when someone is around, which is great because I have hearing loss and have to wear 2 hearing aides.

Bandit has become an expensive rescue puppy! He has eaten a rock, and had to be operated on, as it got lodged. I knew something was wrong because he wasn't eating really and was lethargic... I slept with him that night and in the am went to our vet... $1100 later he is good as new!

See this is the reason, I don't get anything done. I should be packing, and here I am talking to you guys about a dog and a kid! lol

We will be leaving Saturday at about 3 am and hopefully make it to South Carolina or Georgia.

Jenn's movie bag is packed already and she has 3 new dvd's on Pokemon ready to go! She is a pokemon specialist, knows how they evolve and what they will become.. Can't wait to go to Japan in epcot and get more pokemon and bakugan!~

Sunday we arrive at CBR, I already checked in
We originally had plans for that Dessert party, that I checked about 4 times. I received that dreaded phonecall to tell me I was really booked at Noodle station for dinner, not dessert... ugh.. so devastated... Bujt that day I also got the INVITATION for the illuminations party with the Mickey Moms Club

monday is Tusker House at 8:35 am... NOTE: Jenn and Al are NOT early risers... This will be a HUGE task!
9:30 PM we will be at Hoop De Doo, we went last year, and I NEVER heard My hubby laugh sooo hard, he needed his inhaler. He is usually very quiet, he was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and has learned to hide emotions. So for me to see both him and his daughter laughing together, it was another must do.

I'll be back to continue,.. DD wants to go to the fair, it's in our town, and she MUST go there NOW... ugh... see you soon!
