I'm catching up on the Dis today. But I have to head out for a little bit soon.

Saturday rehearsal. I made a 12.5 pound pulled pork today, brownies and lemon cake. Tomorrow is 6 lbs of BBQ Beef Pot Roast and confetti cake, plus another round of brownies (I know that we'll eat some, so I have to make two batches! :lmao:) Friday is Cole Slaw with 4 heads of cabbage and making carrot and celery sticks.

The menu is Pulled Pork & BBQ Beef Sandwiches with Cole Slaw, veggies with Tzatziki & Potato Chips. Dessert is Lemon Cake, Confetti Cake and Brownies. About 30 people. There will a TON of leftovers.

Oh yeah, and Last!

I'll be surprised this time if they finish it off. There are only supposed to be about 32 people and I'm cooking 18lbs of meat. They recommend 1/4 lb per person of serving so this means that people have to eat twice the suggested serving. I know Americans eat more than they should, but I know I can't even eat the 1/4 they suggest. Perhaps the Males types will overstuff their sandwiches and polish it off. If they do I'll be amazed. I know the beef will be gone, but will be surprised if they finish the pork.

And a fleeting last. It's getting late here....
