A Last Min Trip to Forget PTR and TR

I always take a video on my phone then get a screen shot from that, then you can clearly see who whooped whos a$$!!

Next Transformers again we walk right on, I love going against the crowd. Everyone is still heading to HP land while we are hitting up all the rides with little to no wait. I love the movie props they had inside!

This ride was so much fun!
Next Return of the Mummy. We walked on again.

The props were so cool!

This ride I was surprised how much I liked it, I was thinking since this is a bit outdated movie the ride was just going to be so, so, not true at all.

Then we head to Twister. We had to wait 5 mins... again the horror. I decided time to take pic of DH with all this cool broken houses, look how happy he is

I was not sure what to except from this, ohh my gosh sooo coool! They make a real mini tornado!! It felt like we were right in it. I was amazed!! Here is the best pic I got from the tornado.

Then we head over to Rip and Ride, my DH is not a fan of these kind of rides so he takes all my stuff. You are not allowed to have anything on you and they mean it. So no pics since my DH had my camera. I went through on the single side, so even the the wait was about 15 to 20 mins I walked right on! I love the choice of music! Reminds me of Rock and Roll Rollcoaster at WDW. I loved it so much I quickly walk around and do it a second time, again went into the single line and only had to wait a few mins.

Next up we go to Shrek! Wow the line for Minions is super long now. Shrek is pretty short still at only 10 mins. The line times are starting to get longer. I loove the shrek movies, so I was looking forward to this.

We move inside to the pre-show, they to cute job setting it up. I love our guy setting the mood for us.

When we left we saw Shrek, Fiona and Donkey out, so of course we had to go meet them. It started to rain while waiting, and they had to put donkey away, but Shrek and Fiona moved to the side where there is a cover so they can finish off the people who were in the line. I am soo happy they did this for us. Fiona commented on my tie too

So it is 10:45 and we have now already seen all the main rides!! I love not having lines. We decide it is now time to slowly head back over to HP area for lunch and this is when I start getting picture happy, since I am not speed walking from ride to ride like we have been doing.

Next we head to lunch, it is raining so we walk quickly back to HP area, so no pics till the inside. We head inside Leaky Cauldron.

We order our food, they just switched over to lunch. No real line, but seems like people are starting to come in to get out of the rain. Man I love this area and the detail. They take us to our place to sit and wait for food.

My DH gets the classic butter beer.

I went with Hot Butter Beer since last time I was here I had regular butter beer and frozen butter beer. The hot butter beer is now my fav for cooler days. It is amazing!

Our food arrived! We started with the Scotch eggs -- hard-boiled eggs wrapped in sausage meat and coated with a baked bread crumb crust. We wanted something that we had a hard time getting at home.

These were yummy, we shared it.
Next up Beef, Lamb & Guinness Stew, $12.99 (served in a bread bowl)

That was yummy and the bread bowl was great to soaked in the stew! I would recommend every trying either one of our meals. Prices were pretty good here, not to expensive. Everyone needs to eat here and try some of the less american food, it is worth it!

We are new to the world of Harry Potter, but we are hooked and planning our first trip to Universal. Your pictures are building my excitement to be there.

So this is the part where I go picture happy, it is still raining a bit, but there is alot of spots that are covered.

And of course selfie shot, you can see how wet we have gotten, but still having fun and to be quite honest makes it feel more like London because it rains a lot there!

Do you know how long I tried to get the dragon flaming, I am way to impatient....

We decided to head out from under the bridge we were hiding to take more pics.

I reallly want to cosplay Hermione's dress. Why do that not sell this?!!

I really just love how there is always something cool to see.

The good news about it, it is covered, no rain!

Next we head out and I see a small side store to buy wands instead of in the mad house of the official wand shop. I must have debated for hours which one I wanted. I already have Harry Potters wand. I decided to go with Hermione's wand and I got the interactive one

Now if you are debating on if you should get the wand or not I say get it. I had sooo much fun going around and activating all the cool magical areas. Make sure you point to where the censors are and look for the little metal medallions on the ground.

You can see the areas are clearing out because of the rain.

In covered areas everyone is hiding.

Yeah fire!!!!! You have no idea how many times I tried for this.

We do some more shopping my phone battery is dieing so less pics

We wait in for the rain to clear out.

We decided to head back to the hotel and get a nap since it is raining and we will be staying up for late for Halloween fun

After our nap, we headed back out. I love having a hotel soo close, it is so easy hopping on the bus and heading right into the park. It is finally sunny!
We head into the park, man is it great to see the sky.

Simpsons were out greeting people, line was a little too long though.

So we head over to Moe's Tavern, this is where we are going to wait for Halloween Horrors. Basically if you have tickets for it and are in the park, they have you head to designated sections to wait and they clear out everyone else. We were told this is a great place to be since it has the two most popular mazes right next to it and you get released before the other people get let in.
Now Moe's Tavern does not have alot of drinking options, I am not a beer person but they do have the a Halloween drink specials and the glass even lights up. I am a sucker for things that lights up.

We take a seat and relax. Man we feel like we are really in the movie out of all the Simpsons place they nailed this one the best.

Coming in early was smart because it got crowded a bit later and you could not find a seat anywhere.

In the back they have a cafeteria were you order food and has a lot of seating, but did fill up.
Okay so not the most gourmet food, but come on you know kids who grew up watching Simpson had to try the krusty burger!

So if you except the fact that your about to eat greasy fast food, it tasted great and it was fairly cheep for park food.

Next we head out for Halloween Horrors!!!

Just found your report - really enjoying all the pictures as we are getting ready for our first trip (in a loooong time anyway) to Universal!

We are in Colorado too, definitely love all the extra oxygen in FL, just wish it didn't come with so much extra humidity, lol!

So we head out of the Moes Tavern and go wait for a 5 ish to 10 mins for them to let us out and then they let us go.
We head to Walking Dead first. Just a warning, we are not allowed to take pictures inside the Haunted Houses so no pictures inside But I can take pictures outside.
We head through this long maze of a line to the back area, I could not believe the lines got this long. I am soo happy we did not have to wait in that line.
We had to wait for them to open it up, we were so early, but we got to see some undead while waiting

I find it amusing too see them all in a golf cart!

We were finally let in we ohh my gosh, soo much fun and scary. I my standards are forever changed on haunted houses, I will not be able to be satisfied for local neighborhood.

Once we head out, it leads us right to the next haunted house The Purge.

Still a walk on, I love how they have little things interactions in the lines.

The Purge is scary, if you have not watch the movie, there is a lot of great tie ins.

Then we went strait to Insidious. The lines are starting to build up, we had to actually wait. Luckily we wait in front of the famous house.

I love how they had some great rooms that are stair out of the movie. I really wish I could take pictures inside. Now it is dark out crowds are filling in. We got three of the most popular haunted house out of the way before night fall, score! We walk around pass the Harry Potter area and walk through a scare zone really fast. Do not stop at these places yet, they slow you down and the lines get long! Run: Blood Sweat and Fears. The wait is short still, I love the set up makes you feel like you are really about to enter a game show.

Next up the night sets in for Halloween Horror nights.
