A lady was mean to my 4 year old today..

Eh, I do it all the time. Luckily for you,we're fluent in incoherentese.

That's good although one never knows what they are going to be called out on & blasted for here. At least I don't *think* I had spelling errors but anything is possible. I'll just blame it on the kids....

It was McDonald's!!! In my world, that's self explanatory! Unless it's breakfast, my DH doesn't eat McDonald's -- we basically had to drag him kicking & screaming to go there for my little guy's birthday since that is where he choose for his birthday meal. I think he got a chocolate shake & ate some of my French Fries (which really aren't as good as they used to be....EEK...I'm turning INTO the Codger! :scared1: ).

My DH doesn't like McD's either. My kids will sometimes ask to go because of a certain toy they want. They were all over the build-a-bear ones not long ago. I'm so glad that is over with!

Ladies, I must leave you now. My kids have a half day and will be home soon, we're going to lunch at McDonalds :rolleyes1

I expect to see this thing at 700 when I get back on later ;)

We expect a full report of all pokers, snowflakes, codgers and farters you encounter upon your return:rolleyes1

You know what? I just thought of a line that is ALWAYS said on parenting threads and was somehow missed on this one!!!

Where was the dad in all of this?

Had to be asked, you understand, it's like the law or something.

Probably having lunch at Hooters--where, I think both teams can agree, HE should not be asking the lady at the next table for her name:rolleyes:

Gives Team Lil' Poker a whole new meaning.

That is basically McDonald's existance...it's all about the toy & my 6 year old wants *every single one of them* -- luckily my 15 year old has outgrown that unless it's one she wants & the build-a-bear or beanie babies ones!! Then again, I thought Grimace was awesome they had not too long ago -- we never got him. Bummer! My 12 year old is now getting to the point of, he's fine not getting the toy depending on what it is. My 9 year old is still wanting the Happy Meals & you my as well ask my 6 year old to cut off his right arm if you were to ask him if he wanted to not get the toy, it doesn't matter WHAT it is.

How much time DID you spend in detention in high school anyway?:rolleyes1

Okay, now let me preface this by saying that, other than talking, I was a really good student. I got zero detentions in 9th, 11th and 12th grade. In 10th grade, however (the year of the closet), I got one nearly everyday...on purpose. You see, detention was after school. My brother drove me to school, but he went to the tech school next door that let out 45 minutes after my school. So it was either to sit for 45+ minutes in a freezing cold car in Ohio and wait everyday, or get a detention and do my homework in a nice warm building!

So I just got a detention for talking, but if that didn't work, I insulted Mr. McSheffery (Biology). Nothing major...I'd make fun of his hair usually. He'd give me a week of them at a time.

YIKES...although she WAS eating McDonald's and for some odd reason I'm not seeing a nice healthy salad and water being her meal of choice.

Oh you silly goose. EVERYONE gets a nice healthy salad at McD's. They also never put fatty dressing on it.

:upsidedow oh, of course, what *was* I thinking? Drats...I guess I will be a rebel - I go for the chicken selects, fries & pop! I'm sure so very healthy. ;)

Of course we do! That's what I got yesterday, uh huh it is:rolleyes1 (okay so maybe DD and I had DS bring home fried pies from the McDs in the train station. Attery clogging goodness at its best. She is sick and I have been playing nurse so we splurged. I just about fell over when I saw somwone eating a pie here a couple of weeks ago and realized they still fry them in Germany. I was dreaming about it since i saw it 'til I got to eat it yesterday.:cloud9:) Frank I am sure you re horrified!
