GOOFY and KINGS there truly are no words!
I need to take a minute to let two people know how utterly grateful and amazed I am at their kindness.
After waiting what seems an eternity VMK finally released the Golden Giraffe pin. When the staff game went up last night I immediately started receiving Pm's from everyone that knows me that it was the prize. I cannot begin to express my excitement and happiness. For those that do not know me, this is the one VMK item I have wanted more than anything! (Yes even more than snowmen!)
Well I found out the true meaning of friendship and caring (and unfortunately I also found out the true meaning of greed and selfishness~no light without darkness I suppose).
As I was waiting to get into the staff game to attempt to win my own Golden Giraffe I dc'd at @160. You have no idea how absolutely heartbroken I was. The staff line at that point was almost a thousand! I did not try to get back in line. Unfortunately for me VMK greed is just too rampant, I knew if I went around to try to trade for the pin, anyone knowing my desire for it would probably want no less than my inferno. In my own experience (I knew as anyone that has played VMK for a while does) the Host pins quickly lose their value and by the end of the month it would be everywhere. I have waited over a year and a half for this pin~assumed it would never come out, so I was willing to (im)patiently wait for it.

Well here is where the awesome power and love of friends has touched me so deeply. My friends did NOT want me to wait, people on my list (which I am quite selective about) started PMing me that if they won it, it was for me. They all wanted to fill up my lanyard. I was watching certain special friends jumping around the trade rooms in an attempt to trade for it to give me. It was AMAZING to say the least. These friends were willing to trade off things they knew were way beyond the value of that pin (except to me they are priceless) just to make sure I had at least one the night it first came out. I can never thank you both enough. Your thoughtfulness is beyond measure. I can never thank ALL of my friends that tried last night and knowing they will continue to try to fill up my lanyard.
Recently I have witnessed all too well the nasty side of VMK. People and their greed. Others trying to cause trouble between friends, sticking their noses in peoples business that is not their concern. VMK has some dark moments and some malicious people. Last night the light shone on me and showed me how lucky I am to have such great people in my life!
