A Hop, NO Skip, and Many Mishaps to a Disney Dream!

Okay, I'm caught up (sorry I've been missing for the last couple of updates).

I am so loving all the ship photos...those pools look great and I love the verandah and sweet little Claire sleeping the morning away. ;)

So today instead of editing Disney pictures, I took a break and edited some Flower pictures I took yesterday.

Here are a couple, but I posted a lot on my blog if you are interested in seeing them. There are 3 seperate slideshows going on the main page with flower pictures.

My blog.

I'm just too cheap! I can't justify the cost compared to our dirt cheap dial up since it's not like either one of us NEED a fast connection for work or something - our computer time is all entertainment so I just suck it up. Plus I shudder to think how much more time I would spend parked in front of the computer if it were faster.... :scared1: :lmao:

Ours isn't too bad in price. Not much more than what I was already paying for dial up. And it is so worht it to me since I do a lot of picture posting!

I'm behind a lot lately too. And I haven't even begun any updates for today. Sometimes it's just hard to keep up. I do a lot of reading and sometimes don't post. :goodvibes

Hope you all have a wonderful Mothers Day!

WOW!! Those are gorgeous!:thumbsup2 Are all of these flowers around the farm or other places?

Yes. Around the house and farm. I actually don't have very many spring bloomers, but I just did closeups of what I had and you would think I have a whole garden of them! LOL!

Hi Jen!

Just popping in for a moment, then back to work.

I think the lighthouse shot is beautiful, even if it's not the blue water you wanted. Sometimes the best shots just happen along the way to the "perfect" shots in our minds.

And the flower shots are gorgeous! Great sharp focus on those! :thumbsup2

I'm not sure of the arrangement of your deck, but I have heard others suggest setting your camera bag out there when you first get up, so the lenses start to acclimate to the humidity and you can use them sooner. Others keep them double bagged in ziploc bags to keep the moisture. Did you have any more trouble with it?

all caught up! LOVING the pictures. Especially the ones from the Golden Mickey's. Look's like a great show and I cant wait to see it!

Luv the mickey swimming pool! I really want to go on a cruise after seeing all your pics!

We had the camera fogging problem at WDW. When we came out of our room, the camera lens would fog up due to the heat outside & the cold of the room. Made for some really graint photos.

It sounds and looks like you had a great first day on the ship. I'm really lovin this tr! River is always looking over my shoulder at what I'm looking at and now he keeps asking when are we going on the cruise. He said THEY (meaning you) get do go so why can't we? See what you've started?

I love that Mickey pool. When I win the lottery I'm gonna have one built just like it. Who am I kidding? When I win the lottery I'm gonna move to one of those new million dollar homes their building in Disney World!

I can't wait to see what happens next!

I looked at pictures off and on for over 2 years of the Wonder, and I wanted to go so bad. Now after being on one of the ships...I REALLY want to go back! :rotfl:

We had the camera fogging problem at WDW. When we came out of our room, the camera lens would fog up due to the heat outside & the cold of the room. Made for some really graint photos.

It was a little annoying at first, but at least there weren't pictures that I HAD to have at that point in time.

All the flower pictures are beautiful! Good job!

Thanks.

And one last picture of the lighthouse

OK! We now HAVE to get Claire moving. Claire and I had an excursion to go on. I basically had to pull her out of the bunk, but once she was up, she did get moving. She said she wasn’t hungry, but I made her eat something. When looking at pictures of food prior to cruising, she consistently said she wanted a chocolate covered donut, so I had brought one down for her. She licked the chocolate off and was done with that! LOL! She had a sausage link and maybe a bite of hash brown.
She had other things on her mind though. She was very excited about the excursion.
After we were all dressed and ready, we headed to the Buena Vista Theatre to meet. Mom had decided to go on her own that day, but she tagged along with us to the meet up and stayed with us till we left.

I forgot to mention that the night before we had tried to do the Dective agency interactive play thing onboard. It was closed at the time we went. Mom had promised Claire that they would do it on this day later on. While waiting in the theatre Claire talked about this a lot. Mom promised that they would indeed do it sometime after the excursion. Mom and I also talked of possibly checking out Atlantis when Claire and I got back as well. We decided to play it by ear.

Several Excursions met in the Theatre. The process was to grab towels, if needed, when you walk in. Again, you should walk in on deck 4, as they have nothing up on Deck 5 entrance. Then they line you up and you give them your tickets and they put a wristband on you for your excursion. We also put a sticker on our shirt so the CM’s could see which excursion we went too. I believe we got a Dalmatian sticker. And that sucker was STICKY. It came off my shirt through out the day but stuck to my arm. And it HURT to pull it off.

After we had all the right stuff, we lined up with our excursion mates and headed off the ship.
Once off the ship, we had to wait for an excursion leader to come and take us the rest of the way.
Now you are probably thinking…”OK, what excursion did they go on?” WELL……

:lmao: The bad thing is...more than half the pictures I took on the excursion were on the lost card...but luckly I got pretty much the main ones still.

Those lighthouse ones...still weren't exactly what I had hope for. The sun was just tol bright for me to get a good image to work with.

Jen, that is NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Love the photos of pulling into the port, and your lighthouse pictures are great.

I think your lighthouse photos are great!

I can't wait to see your excursion pictures! Claire must have had a ball with it all!

I've been reading but I do the trip reports through the wii so I see huge pics. It takes tears to make comments via the wii controller so I don't. Just wanted to say everything sounds and looks like a blast so far. How did you like the escargot? I am so looking forward to that. I haven't had it since our honeymoon cruise.
