A Happiest Place on Earth Celebration ?

Just wondering if anyone might know if any part of the Happiest Celebration on Earth that is due to start May 5th might start any sooner? I know the Castle will be all decked out before the 5th but will the new stunt show at MGM be available before then or the Cinderelabration show or will Lucky the Dinosaur be roaming around at AK before the 5th? I know this is wishful thinking, but I'm sceduled to leave on the 4th and I was just hoping for a little peek at something, anything I would have liked to stay until the 6th but unfortunately I must get back to my business!

Best guess:

I'd say there is a fairly good chance that both Soarin (Epcot) and Lights, Motors, Action (MGM) will be open before May 5th. Both are new attractions and will need pleanty of testing time with live guests. The only unknown is whether they will keep the rides in a "soft" opening (random guest test runs) right up to May 5th, or if they will actually be running the attractions full time prior to that date.

As you said, the castle modifications are underway and should be unveiled before the 5th.

As for Lucky the Dinosaur and the Cinderelabration show, I think they will probably keep those under wraps until the 5th. Both can be tested / rehearsed away from guests' eyes.

Oh no, what are the castle mdifications???? We went during the 25th birthday celebration and I all of these horrible pictures of the castle that looks like an inflated birthday cake. I like the castle the way it is. classic Disney.
