A Halloween Photo Trip Report

I'm along for the ride!

I know that 1335 flight! It's my favorite.

Loving the pictures as always! It took me awhile of eyeing the photo from the Maelstrom to figure out what that one was- great perspective! Also love the shots of the fireworks from the TTC and the train station and castle as you are approaching from the ferry. Despite the diffuser, the shot of the hippos face is extremely interesting.

It was also nice to see the shots of the kids (and the bigger kids) fooling around. Shows some of the spontaneous fun that happens at Disney.

We haven't tried Restaurantasaurus, but your grilled veggie sandwich sounds really yummy.

We tried Primevil Whirl for the first time this year. It was fun, but definitely not worth waiting in line for.

Slow pace? You're doing pretty well- meeting up with friends and hitting 3 parks in your first two days.

Look forward to hearing more.

Hello! Nice to hear from you! No, it wasn't really a slow pace for me. Brian usually joined us later in the day so he had what I would consider a slow pace but even that wasn't slow according to his definition of slow. We never made rope drop, which is unusual for me. And I've never been in a Disney pool before- that trip back to the resort after Animal Kingdom closed was a big step for me (even if it was in order to stay at the Magic Kingdom past 2 am!). We also did much fewer rides and shows this trip but I think that is good because you can miss so much fun and so many details if you are running from place to place.

I got really bruised from the jerkiness of Primeval Whirl- kept getting thrusting into the side. And four adults do not fit well.

The hippo was really neat. I've walked through that area many times and never realized that there was a hippo in that water!

I like the shots of the kids, too. Other than when I'm taking pictures at Disney, I mostly like to take candid pictures of children.

Fireworks from the TTC are really cool. The further away from the castle you get, the bigger the bursts look. It was a great way to see Hallowishes twice with only one Halloween party ticket. We could hear the music from there, as well.

I will have more up in the next day or two. The report is all written and the pictures are done but I have to link in all the pictures and that is proving to be a mammoth task!

BEAUTIFUL PICTURES...I probably missed it somewhere in your report earlier...but what kind of camera do you use? I am starting to envy the TRs with these awesome pictures :goodvibes

Thanks for reading! I just started your trip report but I am trying not to spend the entire day on the boards today so I will have to catch up later!

My camera is a Canon 50d (mid-range dSLR). But before you run out and buy a new camera- it's not really so much about the equipment (as much as I love my toys). You really can get good pictures even with a point and shoot!
