Just back some 2 1/2 weeks and I can't believe I have over a year till the next one....

October will come fast I'm sure.

All the kids are excited about this pool... even the two "teens!" But, I'm a teensy-weensy bit worried about the fire... do you see those two torch-like fires in the foreground??

You know how Billy is afraid of all fire... I hope they are more subtle in "real life!"

I'm getting excited about our October trip, but I hate that ADRs went to 90. I would be deep into park planning now. It makes me anxious that we won't have hours until after our ADR window opens.

This is probably going to surprise you, but I'm rather relieved that they changed the ADR window to 90 days... 180 days was just too far out, IMHO. Plus, I'm hoping that if we have to wait until then to do the bulk of our planning, it will make those last three months fly by just a bit faster!!

There will even be "observation" decks up on a higher level with little telescope-thingys that the kids can use to look out on the savanna!

Thank you for posting the Villas information! They look beautiful, and that water play area looks like so much fun! They lobby looks beautiful.

I hope the pool's torches aren't too prominent. Perhaps they won't be torches in the actual final product? Maybe they will substitute a light fixture for the torch.

That gives us only two choices (Oct. 31 and Nov. 1) for the MNSSHP. I am worried about tickets selling out. Also, were do you buy the tickets? I saw the special events page on Disney's Site but I don't see where you buy the tickets?

I understand that they eventually sell out on the big nights, but that it's not an instant sell-out, if you know what I mean!

I think videos add a lot. Even most basic digital cameras do video now.

I'm afraid to stay somewhere as nice as that and then "have to" stay at a Value Resort... it might be a let down. The resort is beautiful!!

Well, now, the DVC Resorts are beautiful... but the DVC program does have its pros and cons. If you are seriously interested, I suggest spending a little time on the DVC boards... you can get the true picture of the good, the bad, and the ugly over there!

(But, its mostly good.)

I love all the resorts that we have experienced: Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans French Quarter, Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, and the Wilderness Lodge!! They all have their own charms.

I admit that we never stayed at any of the Value Resorts... but that was only because Ed and I could never share a double bed... we need at least a Queen. (He claims that I am a bed hog, but its only because he steals all the covers and I'm simply trying to stay warm!!)

But, yes, the DVC accommodations really do spoil you.

Ed thinks its the King bed, but I know that its the really the Laundry Room that gets you hooked!
