A Guide to Going to Disney on Your Birthday!

Wow!! This is making me so excited! My 21st (yes, I'm really turing 21!) birthday is October 1st......Magic Kingdom's 35th! So I asked my parents for a trip to The World for my birthday! We're going and I can't wait to celebrate down there! I know, I know, there's the chance that nothing will happend and no one will acknowledge, but I'm gonna cross my fingers and wish!!!

Very cool thread!!! I will be turning 20 next may and i will be at disney!!!! . i will be solo so i dont want to mention it on my adr's...i dont want anyone to think im self centered...but i will get the button!!! Haha im sooo excited for my trip i can hardly wait!!!

Yes it does. I've several birthdays as well as anniversaries in WDW. My last was our 30th anniversary in April

No get buttons for all of you. You will be glad you did. The ones at MK and DTD are the same, but you still have EPCOT, AK, and MGM. Hope I didn't get the MK and DTD one of the same mixed up. We went last October when my bday was. Each day I wore a button. By the end of the week I had 5 buttons on. Hey it'sall your bdays, enjoy it. Don't be afraid to flash them. Also, something neat to do is get t-shirts made.

This is so great!!! My son will be celebrating his 12th birthday this Oct and your advice is awesome. I love the autograph book idea and the picture with random people in it. There is just no place like Disney!!!!!

These are such great ideas! Is it bad that after reading that, I'm seriously considering doing this for my cousin's 3 yo old daughter when we go next May? She won't be turning 4 until next June, but it's her first trip and I want to make it as special as possible for her.

We're going over my dad's 50th bday. He hates attention normally, but i really want to make it special. Hmm what to do, what to do! We've never eaten at a Disney resort restaurant- does anyone have any ideas for birthday table service meal?

Oh so many to choose from. Lets see. Try Chef Mickey's. That is great. It's at the Contemp....Oh maybe Ohonas at the Poly....

WOW! What great ideas. We will be there in 20 days and we have a lot to celebrate. Both dh and myself turn 50 (Him right before the trip and me right after the trip) and our 31st wedding anniversary. We plan on having a great time.

Not sure if I missed this posted in the thread or not. When we were celebrating my son's birthday in December, all guest services had the same birthday pin. It's dream birthday pin, clouds, castle. Hopefully when YOAMD is over, they will go back to park specific buttons!!

OMG - my b'day is the 26th and I'll be at the MK celebrating that day too! Very cool. Maybe we'll see each other! I'll be the one that's making the most of turning 30......what better way to have a 'big' b'day then to act like a kid in the Magic Kingdom?

But I'm sorry about daddy missing your son's big day, I know that is hard...

Subscribing as we are celebrating FH's birthday in March with a trip (A little after his birthday due to classes) and my birthday in September with a trip (ON my birthday!)

I have lots of ideas of things to do, but FH is clueless. It should make it fun to surprise him!

I will be celebrating my 40th birthday on October 7th....I want lots of fuss LOL
The plan so far is to spend the weekend celebrating so on the Saturday me and DD8 and DD13 will be going to BBB and having a makeover then our photos taken.Next we are going to 1900 park fare with a cake.The next day we will have breakfast at Chief mickeys ...is it possible to order a cake at breakfast? Finall we hope to have dinner at CRT again with a cake.That way everyone will know its my birthday....sad I know but the girls are growing up quickly and I want to make this a really magical trip for all of us....dont think we will be able to go to wdw again till DD1 is over 16.
