We have an EXCELLENT dance team. Several years of national champions in various divisions. The competetive teams start at 2nd grade and they have rec dept classes that start at 3yrs old. Those are just for FUN, the girls have lots of fun dancing to the music.
Well, the director decided to create a preteam for girls going into kindergarten and 1st grade. This isn't competitive, but they will do performances. She hand selected a group of 10-12 girls and she chose DD!!!!!!! I am so excited for her. She loves to perform and dance.
If she decides to go on and try out for the competitive teams, she will have had some extra experience and should hopefully help her make the team.
Before anyone flames me.... she likes this, I am not pushing her, she wants to do this and has an AMAZING time doing it! She is a born performer.
I am just so excited that she got picked, it is a big thing in our town. I know it is an incredible opportunity and honor for her, and I am just thrilled!!!
