Hello friends!

I have been so busy the last few days... I should be able to slow down a bit on Monday. I came home from Charlotte with a raging case of strep throat. Went to the Dr this morning and got antibiotics. Then went to Tucker's 5th grade graduation and party at school. Then tonight to a pool party for them. Tomorrow and Sunday we have Bible School. And to top it all off, I have had insomnia lately, too. Some nights I lay in bed for hours and can't fall asleep. Then when I do, I dream that I am still awake trying to go to sleep... which is more exhausting than not sleeping in the first place!

Tracy... good luck on your diet! You are so much better than me. I just go to the second hand store near my house and grab a few pairs of new capris! They have a HUGE selection of plus sized name brands in good shape, and they are $3.50 a pair. I can usually find Eddie Bauer or Lane Bryant everytime I go in there. :thumbsup2 But, you are gonna get back into your old pants, so no worries! Are you gonna add any exercise?

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well....Strep throat stinks!! I hope the antibiotics clear it up soon!

Congrats to Tucker!!!

I'm not sure how much I'll be on this weekend, ladies. I'm taking my laptop, but am not sure if we have free internet access at the hotel. I'll talk to you all when I get back!

BEHAVE!!!:lmao::rolleyes1

Sorry about your strep throat. Ow. Ow. Ow. I hope you are feeling better. Score on the capris! I REFUSE to buy any new capris. No way, no how. I just love to find good bargains. My sister gets mad at me because I always find the new with tags stuff all the time. Can't beat a pair of Liz Claiborne slacks with the $200 tag still on them for five bucks! WOOT! :thumbsup2
Yes, I will be exercising. I have to. I love it once I get over the "OMG, I'm gonna die part". I've got about a month of Nutrisystem left that I am going to follow and I'm going to hit the Bowflex, do 150 crunches a day and have Bob and Jillian kick my caboose. That's my usual routine, along with treadmill here and there. I can get down a size in a month - maybe even two. Here's hoping. :woohoo:

Oooh. This is late, but have fun on your weekend getaway Heather!! I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing time. Stay safe!

I'm sorry you have strep throat...that stinks--especially during the summer when you want to be outside. Feel better soon.

Us, behave! What kool-aid are you drinking?

I have complete faith in you that you are going to get down one size definitely and I have a feeling it will be two sizes.

Today I am cleaning house/doing laundry and waiting to hear from my best male friend. As I've told you gals before, his mom has cancer and he is taking care of her basically by himself. He emailed me late Thursday night to say he'd been with the cancer doctor a good part of the day on Thursday; I didn't hear from him yesterday and I'm getting a little worried that something has happened. So I'm sitting on pins and needles...I hate that he is going through this by himself.

Ugh. Waiting is the worst. I hope everything is okay with him. Big hugs.

Bon Jovi is in town today for an outdoor concert and I'm not leaving my house. No way, man. That's a first class ticket to road rage that I'm not buying. I'm crazy, but not that crazy!! Today is laundry and cleaning day for me too. If I ever find the energy...

Omg! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I have tears STREAMING down my face right now and my husband is debating to perform mouth to mouth because I can't get a breath in between fits of laughter. OMG. I am DYING! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You and I are too much alike. My kids kept saying "what are you laughing at?" Umm... the naked lady at TL! :rotfl:

:rotfl2::rotfl2:So were her tatas still hangin out as she rode down the "with" the other guy? He may have been traumatized OR it made his day:rotfl2:

This was the most funniest thing I have ever read in my entire life. I just couldn't stop laughing! :rotfl2: I was still laughing when I turned out the lights an hour later. :rotfl: I was trying to tell my husband the story because he really thought that I went off my rocker, but I just couldn't get the words out. He said, "something can't be *that* funny." I looked at him, tears streaming down my face and busted out laughing again... oh yes it can, mister!!! :rotfl2: The visual just kills me! My sides hurt this morning and I'm hoarse too. Man, I needed that laugh. Thank you hunny!!

You know, it irks my tater that you have to buy at least a one day park ticket just so you can have the dining plan. No dining plan for me! :(

Two elderly women were out driving in a large car--both could barely see
over the dashboard. As they were cruising along they came to an
intersection. The stoplight was red but they just went on through.

The woman in the passenger seat thought to herself, "I must be losing
it, I could have sworn we just went through a red light."

After a few more minutes they came to another intersection and the light
was red again and again they went right through.

This time the woman in the passenger seat was almost sure that the light
had been red but was really concerned that she was losing it.

She was getting nervous and decided to pay very close attention to the
road and the next intersection to see what was going on.

At the next intersection, sure enough, the light was definitely red and
they went right through and she turned to the other woman and said,
"Mildred, did you know we just ran through three red lights in a row!!!
You could have killed us."

Mildred turned to her and said, "oh sh*t, am I driving?"

I am watching John and Kate plus 8 when they went to WDW... started getting teary-eyed when they drove under the Welcome to Walt Disney World sign. And when they ate at Chef Mickey's. I need a vacation!

I know, I hate that too! The cost of the 2 one day tkts could go a good ways toward food!

I have a friend who has saved all those one day tkts and now has enough for a long visit - but no longer go often enough to do that.

Wouldn't Disney have even more folks adding the DDP if not for the tkt requirement? The again, it's likely most guests (b/c most do not frequent Disney boards) just add on enough tkts for everyday of their stay, not realizing there is lots more to do at Disney beyond the parks.

I love Disney, but for the enchantment factor, not the rip off factor. Sorry - it's a touchy issue with me.

Awww . I need a vacation too...sigh..... cannot watch that show anymore....too sad.

I'm sorry I haven't been around for a few days. My laptop has been having issues, shall we say. I get to one post, then nothing more, or one email, then nothing more...it's been a big pain!!

Finally last night decided to a system restore back to Friday and ta da - it worked! I had done a registry scan and scan-disk - one definitely messed things up. Took 2 mins to open one page!! And Norton would not work - but all is well now.

Tracy, love the new photo!

Kari, hope the strep throat is much better today.

Kathy - I am so sorry about Frank's mother. Do keep us posted?

Piglet's Mommy - hope you are having a great time!

Grace&Carolinesmom -

Did I miss anyone?? I'm so sorry if I did!

That story was hilarious...but then I continued the thread and read about the tragedy of the death of her DD and DGD's. OMG, heart-wrenching.

I had an almost similar happening at River Country way back when...oops, Sophia is waking up....more later!

Thanks. That's what I look like now. :) Still too lazy to create a photobucket account. Yes, I always get teary eyed heading down that road too. It's pure magic. I feel bad for those of you who've had to cancel vacation this year. Here I am leaving in a month and couldn't care less. :( I'm just not excited in the least. I am SO depressed, exhausted and overwhelmed. I just realized that I need ADRs to eat breakfast at the Poly! Talk about a resort newbie. I am not used to this. In my mind, when you stay at a hotel you just go to the hotel restaurant to eat your meals... none of this reservation stuff. I must have those macadamian pancakes.!

I just made adr's last night for oldest DS who is leaving the day after tomorrow. I did not think we'd be able to get anything and I actually did pretty good for him (we couldn't make them sooner because he just got his baseball schedule down there). I was able to get Sci-Fi's, 1900 Park Fare (this one they will probably cancel), Biergarten, Plaza Restaurant and Fulton's--all lunches.

Oh boy. I have never heard of any of those places. I am a dorkasaurus. Yup. I best be getting my caboose in gear, huh?
