Just heard the sad news that Farrah Fawcett lost her battle to cancer this morning.

I will always remember that first season of Charlie's Angels and some of the wonderful "serious" made for television films she did.

Yes, I heard it a few minutes ago too. I had a feeling she was going right after Ed McMahon passed the other day. It always seems celebrities go in three's.

Did you hear about the Barbara Walters interview with Ryan O'Neal? He said he asked to her marry him and she nodded yes - but he wanted her to be stronger.

We are going to a concert on Saturday, and then to Atlantic City Sun, Mon & Tues.

The best part is that we'll come home Tues. afternoon, I'll work Wed & Thurs. and then have another long weekend for the 4th of July!

LUCKY YOU! I am taking time off. My boss takes the month of August off every year (he's 83 years old and entitled). He informed me he is also taking July off this year. So, we are off as an office on Friday, July 3, and I've now taken the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off. I also am taking a week in August. We're not going anywhere...but I can putter around the house, play with my sweet dog while oldest DS is in Florida with his team next week, etc.

And lucky you!!!! Wow, sounds fabulous!! And then a week in August and then Marco Island in September - hey, life ain't bad!!

I need a getaway desperately - something to look forward to...sigh..

I'm really happy for youse guys!!!

Mmmmm. Skor bar. Yup. I can relate. I went through a two year bout of insomnia. To this day, I still only get about four hours of combined sleep a night. Then I piled on the pounds from medication. Gained and lost about 45. Now I can't lose it at all. Half of my hair fell out in January, my metabolism went in the toilet and I am a nervous wreck all the time. I saw The View this morning as well - and I wondered if she had passed because they were all so teary. Bet they already knew, but the public announcement had not yet been made.

She sure was pro-advocate for her life. May God be with her family during these difficult days. Yes, RIP, Farrah.

Absolutely NOT! Dessert is my favorite part of a meal. I have some favorites at Disney too...so I am sure not to fill up on food when at those particular restaurants so that I can eat the WHOLE dessert.

I am so doomed for this trip. None of the capris that I wore in March fit me anymore. I've got five weeks to squeeze my caboose into them. Oh boy. Someone is gonna have to shoot me with an energy dart 'cause I'm plum out.

It's only 82 degrees here and I am melting in the humidity. I'm not gonna make it in Florida!! Nuh uhn. I am DOOMED.

Oh my - anyone hear the latest news - Michael Jackson had a massive cardiac arrest:

LOS ANGELES -- Pop star Michael Jackson has been taken to UCLA Medical Center by ambulance suffering from cardiac arrest, fire officials confirm.

Los Angeles Fire Department Captain Steve Ruda said paramedics responded to a 911 call at Jackson's home around 12:26 p.m.

He was not breathing when they arrived. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda says.

Jackson is renting a home in the Holmby Hills in the 100 block of Carolwood Drive off Sunset Boulevard.

It is about two minutes from the UCLA Medical Center.

Family members have been called and are on their way to UCLA, sources say.

Jackson's father, Joe, told reporters his son is "not doing well."

UCLA officials are not releasing any details about the pop star's condition.

Michael Jackson Dies

We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but they had no luck.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

LaToya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II..

Exactly why I don't like summer trips - beside the heat. Well, at least not since I gained weight.

In December I can wear jeans and a sweatshirt!!

Pace yourself and get to the parks early, leave by noon, cool down, relax, go back in the evening..will still be hot and humid, but no sun.

You can do it!!!! And, you'll be at such beautiful resorts, so going back midday will be wonderful!

Stay away from the food porn if you want to fit into your pants...Don't you know food porn sticks to your hips by osmosis??

If they ever did a dining plan that got you just an appetizer and dessert, I'd be the first to sign up...I don't need the main course, just appetisers and deserts!
