A great big pickle...sigh.

Oooh bummer. I'm making mine with angel food cake. And a bucket load of whipped cream. Yup. I'm on a diet. :rolleyes1

Angelfood cake is good and bet you're using non-fat or low-fat whipped cream, yep?

Hey, like that new countdown of CSR & Poly! It is somethin' to be excited about!! Although I'm not a split stay kinda guest. Like to unpack, settle in for the long haul...::yes::

Fat free baybee! Yum. I can't wait for our split stay. I just want to relax and unwind a wee bit.

*groan* I ate way too much shortcake. Muh belly hurts. :( Woe woe woe.

Ok, I HAVE to make dining ressies or we're gonna starveeeeeeeeee. Pick em for me ladies. C'mon. Show me what you've got. Remember, we are not on the dining plan so be gentle on my pocketbook, please. :)

That's because you ate MY portion too!!!!!

Aw, you want me to write the places down again??? ;) Okay, just for you!

My picks:

Sci Fi (MGM) ~ lunch only - do not pay dinner prices. (when you check-in, be sure to request a car, worth the wait, if you go here). It's theme is an old drive-in movie in the Hollywood Hills and everyone sits in 50's cars.

The Plaza in the MK ~ lunch or dinner.

Fame Tree BBQ at AK ~ it's CS, so no ressies needed. Outside seating, but if you get there when it opens, then you can follow a path down to the river and eat by the water under cover, with ceiling fans. :)

Okay...them's my suggestions! :thumbsup2

Okay...relatively cheap:

Plaza Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom -- Salads and sandwiches, delicious shakes and OUT OF THIS WORLD desserts. :worship:

Studios -- Sci Fi Dine In -- wonderful onion rings (lunch menu is better than dinner)

Epcot -- Rose & Crown Pub in England -- very good and not too expensive (have a nice beer sampler--I think it is like six beers that you get a sampling of each--DH really likes this)

Animal Kingdom -- Yak & Yeti -- more expensive -- $19.99 for a meal, but it was our second favorite meal of our trip last year

And I promised to post one more goofy picture of my DH:

He is the reason I am most upset we can't go to Disney this year. He has such a good time and he feels like a kid again, and he works so hard that he deserves it. Oh well, next year will just have to hurry to get here.

Kathy, you sure have yourself a keeper ( and so does Mark ;) )! Please post as many pics as you'd like - gives me a smile every time I see another one! Next year will be extra special for you guys, Kathy. I hope our paths cross for a day or two - would so enjoy a dinner/drink/ or just enjoying some time together.

Hey, look at those restaurant recommendations! Kathy and I agree :) And I'd also say Rose and Crown - lunch is always less cost wise, of course.

I didn't go with a TS for AK because if you're not on the DDP, then you may not do a sit down everyday, so wanted to mention an alternative. ;)

Great minds think alike!

A Santa hat you ask? Let me tell you...my DH wears a Santa hat that has MICKEY EARS on it. And he wears it driving his car to work for two weeks, along with reindeer antlers on his car! :rotfl2:

LOL. Oooh. I'll have to check the christmas shop at DTD for one of those! Weehoo! I don't have the antlers but I want some.

Me too! Just wish everything wasn't so expensive.

I know what you mean. My DH just rolls his eyes at me every year we go as my bill there is at least $150. I've gotten to the point that I have a list of what ornaments I have so I don't buy duplicates. Our entire Christmas tree is nothing but Disney ornaments.

Holy guacamole! That be one expensive tree! I have one Mickey ornament and you can't even see him on my tree. The poor fella. I'm quite OCD when it comes to my tree. Everything has to be evened out. Different ornaments would make me go off the deep end. :lmao: I like order. A lot. I need help, I know!

Okay, I'm trying to plan out my ressies and my memory stinks. At Epcot, there is a pavillion that has a water/boat ride inside. There is also a dining place there along the water. Where the heck is this or am I crazy?! :confused3 I'm sure I remember this when I was a kid. Anyone?
