ok - not so sure that's a great way to start the new year - beautiful voice & song - but now I've gotta go look up the sad story of who this guy was & why he's dead - kinda depressing I'd say to start of my New Year.

I am a glass half FULL kinda woman. So like I said.. "enjoy.. it is a joyful noise" Brudda Iz used his talent, his gift to give others happiness. Yes, his life was difficult, and yes he died early in life... hopefully passed to an better destination.

so while you may find it sad.. go right a head. it ain't gonna spoil it....

Happy New Year dearie!! A whole new decade... I wonder what this one will be like... the last one sure was full of unexpected changes!

We were going to use this as the final song at my dad's memorial service last year, even had it printed in the program.....but couldn't do it at the last minute. I wanted to be able to leave with some dignity but I knew this song would do me in!

I do love it though, but it always feels bittersweet to me. Enjoyed hearing it now.

I really love this song. So much so, I used it for my dance solo this year. I usually do a solo with ribbons and so I used 4 different color ribbons on two sticks for the solo. Everyone loved it and the song especially.
