We are new DVC members and will make our first trip home in June. This first trip we will be driving from OH but future trips might be by air. We have never had a credit card that gives FF miles and am wondering if any Midwest DVC members have ideas or suggestions as to which reward cards to consider. I don't want to pay a yearly maintenance fee for the card if I can avoid it.
Love this board and all the information that is on it.

tiffany123,

We have the Continental Chase Master card. We charge everything on it (taxes, DVC dues, utility bills, groceries, gas, cell phone bills, etc) every dollar you charge is 1 frequent flyer mile. There is a yearly fee of $25 to $35. But it is well worth it.When you sign up for the card you get 5,000 to 7,000 frequent flyer miles bonus for signing up. Their card has no expiration date to use the miles.
We also have US Air Divedends Miles Visa. We are right between 2 airports (Cleveland and Pittsburgh) thats why we have 2 cards.
Also you must pay your Credit cards bill in full when you get your bill , or it would defeat the purpose of free miles(pay intrest)

If you have any other questions send me an e-mail or PM.

Here is Continental Chase's website to sign up https://chaseonline.chase.com/chaseonline/signup/sso_signup_filter.jsp

To get either Continental or United miles for no annual fee at a rate of 1 mile/1 dollar charged, sign up for the Amtrak guest rewards mastercard

You can transfer points earned in 5,000 point increments for 5,000 miles on either Continental, Midwest Express or United.

Or you can get free gift certificates, hotel stays or train trips.

We like american express because you can save the miles for use within the offers at American Express or you can choose which airline you want to use your miles with.

American Express blue doesn't have an annual fee
