Hi everyone i have a question about underwear!

I was warned that some underwear will show through my wedding dress, so have been looking for something light...i cant try them for another 2 weeks as my dress is getting altered etc then i will only have another 2 weeks after that to try and find a suitable bra!

What did past disney brides do? Or what are furture brides going to do? :confused3

Thank you for any help you can offer

Hi
When I got married I had a halter-neck dress so I didn't wear a bra. I bought some undies that had suspenders attached to them so I didn't have to worry about having lines round the hip area.
If you need a bra try a strapless or even an all in one bodice.
Hope this helps and have a fantastic wedding day

I wore a corset style bra under my dress, and underwear that were “normal.” Whatever that means, LOL! Unless your gown is very sheer or a very clingy fabric, then I don’t think that your underwear are likely to show through. My gown had a full skirt, and you couldn’t have seen anything if I had worn jet black underwear. :teeth:

I am wearing one of those poufy slip things (I'm sure they have a name, but I'm not sure what it is) and there is no way that you would be able to see through that...

Trying not to freak you out, but I'm surprisd the person doing your alterations did them without you having the bra you're going to be wearing. NOt sure what kind of dress you're wearing, but instead of wearing a strapless with my dress, the seamstress sewed cups into the dress. (of course, I was 22 and a little perkier then) Same thing with the bride for the wedding I was in earlier this year.

DEFINITELY find one before you go to your next fitting if you don't have cups put in.

Oh my word now i am freaking! :maleficen

I guess i'll look into the whole bra thing a little closer! But thank you to everyone who has helped with this matter! :grouphug:

Don't freak out, just call your seamstress and discuss. You're the customer and are paying for the service!!
