so i just went to the mailbox and found this......hmmm......boring white envelope. nothing special. probably another credit card offer.

then i notice the return address is from lake buena vista, florida....

could it be disney-related mail? one can only hope. so i open it to find, sure enough, mickey at the top!!!! and info about my annual pass purchase.....

and look what's attached to the back.....

kinda ironic that it's lime green, huh? anyway, this made my saturday!!!!!! it seems for real now!!!!!!!!!!

also, completely unrelated, but has anyone seen these?????

Okay, so I'm a few days behind here, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this tank!! I would totally go online right now & buy it except that we are going to be at WDW around the same time so I thought it would be kind of funny if we were both wearing it at the same time LOL. It is super cute though!

At first I was not going to attach a LGM to my bag but because of all of the fun people I'd like to say hi to, I just might. I would have to hide it from DH because he would make mad fun of me if he saw it.

I wasn't going to attach one because I was pretty sure that my DH would make fun of me too...he still doesn't understand why I spend so much time online talking to everyone here, but now there are a ton of people that I'd like to meet, so I think I'll add one to my bag.

I bet that totally made your day to get that in the mail!! I just saw those yesterday (I had a Croc shopping spree online yesterday, which I have yet to tell DH about...)

tara - do you know if we need to tip mousekeeping every day while at OKW? i know i always did at pop, but i'm thinking i read somewhere that the DVC resorts don't have daily mousekeeping but that they come every few days or something. do you know? the reason i ask is i was gonna print out some cute little tip envelopes and i wasn't sure how many i'd need?

Love that envelope from Lake Buena Vista! We got one just like it with the same lime green cards of fun in them. It took us about two minutes at DTD to trade them in for the real thing. We're going to get the most out of them that we can. We just did our first ten days, we have six coming in December and five coming in March for girls' trips, and then another eight days in July with the whole family before they expire. That's sixteen dollars a day of Disney fun.

I'll look forward to seeing and hearing about all the fun you have in September. Since I am a teacher, September trips are totally out for me. I have to go during the busiest times, but we still have a blast!

where did you activate it at DTD? i was thinking you could only do that at one of the four parks, but if there's a place at DTD i may take advantage of that if we arrive early enough on friday. wow......you're going 4 times in one year??? so lucky!!!!

They have a trash and towel service scheduled on Monday. When they came on my last trip I happened to be in the room. The literally dropped off new towels, took the old ones and dumped the trash. 2 minutes. I just left $2. I didn't want to be cheap but c'mon...it's not like they made the beds or changed the sheets or anything. I normally tip $4 for that stuff. I will chip in for whatever you want to leave though!

I wasn't going to do it again this year but I'm starting to change my mind! It sounds like there are alot of disers going during free dining!

I think if I saw someone with a LGMH, I would approach them but if someone was in lime green? I might be worried about looking like a idoit! However, if they looked friendly, I might ask if they were a Diser? However, I haven't had any of those opportunities.

About getting your APs at DTD - There's a Guest Relations office at DTD, on the left, kind of set back, about halfway down Marketplace. We were in and out quickly and then browsed some shops before going back to Pop to see if our room was ready. That way, we didn't waste any park time when we got to MK that evening.

And yes, it is hurray for going four times this year! We're making up for many vacations that we were not able to take when I was raising three kids alone and going to school full-time, working full-time, etc. Now that we're able to have a few dollars left at the end of a payday, as opposed to there being a few days left at the end of the payday dollars, we're happy to be making up for lost time. They're still budget vacations, but they're vacations nonetheless!

Dawn-What are your feelings on the Pop Glow Party on the 22nd? I know it is our MK day and I would really like to stay for Spectro and Wishes. I guess the party starts at 10pm. What do you think???
