As many of you know, I teach fifth grade. Well, today was our holiday party. My class mother has twin boys. She unfortunately got called into work today and could not attend the party. Despite this, she planned an amazing hourwith a holiday craft (pommanders --- clove decorated oranges) and breakfast for the kids.
Because she could not attend, she instead sent in her mother and sister. They are visiting from California and are big Disney nuts (I'm starting to wonder if they are DISers, too!). They are also pin traders like I am and visit DLR often.
The boys came running to me this morning with a beautifully wrapped Christmas gift. Their grandmother and aunt insisted I open it right away so they could see my reaction. I did and boy oh BOY did I get a surprise! They actually went PIN TRADING for me and got me several LE pins. I literally had tears in my eyes! It is one thing to go to a store and purchase something related to someone's interests, but to actually go trading like this was amazing. I was totally touched! I now am the proud owner of several LE DLR pins and one WDI pin (my first!).
