A future Epcot monorail resort?

Is it possible that they could create a future resort near Epcot that you could get to via the Epcot monorail? Is there land and space for this?

If you look at an aerial map of the area just west of the Epcot parking lot, you can see that there is plenty or undeveloped space there, and it's right on the monorail.

Whether this space is developable or not, I couldn't hazard a guess.

It's also unlikely that they'd put another monorail stop on the line so close to the Epcot stop.

But a resort in that area would be within easy walking distance of both the park and the Epcot transportation center, with busses and monorails to all of WDW property.

Of course it would probably just be another DVC resort.....cha-ching $$$, cha-ching $$$. That seems to be all Disney is interested in at this point, due to the profitablity of DVC.
