Tonight I was giving my four year old son a bath. That's always intereting. I have to wonder how for year old boys manage to get every speck of dirt in a twenty five mile radius on their bodies...but that's another issue.
So anyway, I put him in the tub and I noticed a dried sticky something right in the middle of his upper chest. I started picking at it with my fingernail to get it off and my son starts yelling "no! no mommy! Don't take that off!" I said "What are you talking about?" as I finished taking the gook off and he started crying and saying "No! Everyone has one! Don't take that off! You have them Mommy! Don't take it off!".
I said "It's already off, I don't know what you're talking about"....he calmed down and I finished his bath. As I was drying him off, he looked down and said "It's still there!"....
That's when I realized he thought I was picking his nipple off.
We were both very relieved at the end of bathtime.
