I was checking my luggage at SW the other night. On the way down I was at 45 lbs. I bought a few T-shirts and knew I was close to 50. Sure enough the scale said 51 lbs. One of the agents there said to start unpacking but the one doing the typing said not to worry about it. I apopreciate that they let it slide plus DD appreciates her new 1 lb shirt

I had a great SW clerk last summer in Las Vegas. My sister had bought a snow globe for a souvenir for my daughter and it got flagged in security (liquid). So I said I could take it back downstairs and check it in the bag I had planned to use as a carry on. After I got escorted downstairs and the rest of my travel party went on, I realized I had already checked two bags under my name. The clerk looked me up, saw I was linked to the others in the party (don't know how she knew), and checked it under someone else's name. I don't know if that's allowed, but I was sure glad she did!
