I called Loews's 800 # this morning at 8am and spoke to a gentleman named Titus (whom was very nice). He then passed me onto a gal named Gina (also very nice) in Arizona who was a customer service specialist. She took all of my info and my complaint...said she would check out my reservation and call me back.

She called back only to tell me that they booked me at the "Fan Club Rate" and therefore I was not eligible for the GA resident promotion when we were there 2 weekends ago? No where at any time did anyone ask me for a Fan Club card...oddly enough...that I didn't even know I had used?

She offered me no other explaination as to why we were duped on our tickets. I told her I hoped if I do return there again that they get their story straight when you make a reservation there as I was very disappointed. She merely pointed out that I got a great rate ($119...for poolview).....I guess that was supposed to make me feel better......?

Beware with Universal Promotions!...they aren't always what they are cracked up to be.....

Not good enough.

Fan club cards are few and far between and this promotion is a totally different animal. I would not stop at this. Someone needs to compensate you or give you satisfaction as a customer. Sorry, but I would have been lit up if it had happened to me.

Esmerelda....Go to the TOP. This would not be an acceptable response if given to me. I agree they must compensate you. Yes the room rate they provided was a good one but that has nothing to do with the ticket situation. Perhaps since they didnt come up with acceptable compensation you could suggest what would make you happy and what would get you to return.

Write a letter stating exactly what transpired at the hotel and including the phone calls after returning and send it registered mail.

I hope they do the right thing. Next time get it in writing! It really is a must. I learned the hard way and will always get it in writing from now on.

I hope this has a happy ending for you:)
