Love the way you started your trip -- just sitting back relaxing and eating at Casey's. That sounds heavenly right now!

But weren't the kiddos dying to get on the rides?

Yes and no. We had been driving for a while and they were hungry too. DD is ready for anything while DS is not much for anything fast or scary. I'm sure he will grow out of it. But who knows?

Doesn't it sound heavenly? Little moments like that keep me going until the next trip. My DH doesn't "get it" at all so I am very happy to have people on the DIS. You are lucky to have a husband who "gets it".

Funny, I never think of DH as "getting it" since his love for Disney is like next to nothing compared to mine...I always think that he is just doing it for me and now for DD. But I guess compared to some, he does -- after all he is the one who suggested DVC.

Thanks for reminding me of this! I need to give him a right now and tell him how thankful I am!

After Casey’s, we ran on over to Adventure Land. And who do we see but…

After a little prodding, I got Sugar to jump in the pic with the kiddos…

After this I walked over and got Fast Passes for the Jungle Cruise and we headed over to …

Bird found a Hidden Mickey. Do you see it?

My camera was not cooperating and took really bad pictures during this ride. Here are a couple of the ok ones.

And here is Teddy Bear in his Captain Jack hat. I swear it is a miracle my kids did not come home with lice this year. When I think about how
many people have tried these hats on….blech.

At this time, we saw the parade passing and while Bird did not want to watch, Teddy Bear did so we caught some of it.

We still had about 15 minutes to wait for Jungle Cruise…I looked longingly at the Dole Whip stand, but didn’t want to bring it on the boat. The kids amused themselves at this spot:

So far I had the most fun watching them running around the totem poles and cracking up. Hey guys, what did you do in Disney World? We ran around some totem poles! Wow cool!

They had more fun doing stuff like that than anything else. Bird kept asking Mom rememeber that Winnie the Pooh playground? Can we go there? Mom remember that playground in Toontown? Can we go there? Mom I want to go on the Honey I shrunk the kids playground! Mom I want to go to the Boneyard! Next year we are going playground hopping and I will have the two happiest kids on earth!

okay...I'm on board with you now. Sorry, I'm a little slow today. Had company all weekend and then got sick and got some news that the DH is going to have a schedule change with work once again so I'm a little stressed on top of crazy.
