A Fight

I'm sick of it. I left from the TB for about a year because of a fight, came back just for it to happen again. If it persists, the board should get more moderators or close the board down.

Months ago, the TB was waaayyy worse than this, and we suggested that we add a new moderator or two. Let's just say it didn't happen. But seriously, Tara tries as hard as she can...she's only 16 and she has a life of her own.

Also, I think saying they should close the TB completely would devestate a lot of people. It's been worse than this, and actually, I'd rathar see people debating political/religious beliefs than mocking others on their personality.

It's been worse, I don't understand why everyone is getting so worked up... It's actually not that bad.

Its not. There were two debates going on, one thread with the OP freaking out.

we've had worse than that in our sleep. Suggesting to close the TB is just outrageous.

As I've said earlier in the thread. We're not getting another moderator. We're not getting a moderator removed. Nothing is going to happen with the mod situation. Just don't say anything about it. Its just going to start a fight and get you in trouble.

I honestly, don't see anything wrong, and I don't really care.
When we're all warm and fuzzy and keeping opinions to ourselves it gets boring.

the board is just like what happens in real life - you don't get on with everyone. You don't agree with what everyone says. You say things you don't mean. I think we should just lighten up a bit? Have fun!
I think a few more disney threads are needed..random threads are great but I think we need just a couple more disney threads

Yeah. I know that I get into conversations a lot and whenever I say my own opinion it sometimes feels like I am picked out of everyone else and am questioned for it.

We're not going to get any more moderators. Just isn't going to happen. There was a huge mess with this months ago. Trust me, don't go there. People got in a lot of trouble for suggesting it.

Shelby the thing that happened a couple months ago is that about the wolf november guy? Cause I did contribute to that but for a good reason. I do believe that some people need to draw the line on some things that they are saying.

Alot of people don't know the difference between a debate and a fight.

Alot of the time people think they are being flamed or called out, but really, sometimes people are just curious about their opinions and want to know more.

I know there have been alot of fights on the TB, but when we are debating about religion/polictics or other contraversial issues, that is what I like to see on the TB. I'm GLAD we're not a board that sits around and talks about fluff, I'm THRILLED that we can discuss important issues. I LIKE it when things get heated, because I'm glad people have opinions about these issues.

That being said, I would NEVER want TB to be closed down! I LOVE it!
I love to come here and talk Disney on one thread and then express my opinions on gay marriage in another!!

Also, I think that fights should be dealt with through PMs rather than on threads, because too many people get involved, and it's a bit disrespectful to call people out in public threads, IMO, if you have been offended by something someone has said, you should PM them instead of making a big deal of it and hijacking a thread.

I agree with every statement of that. If we just sat around and talked about nothing all day, and we all agreed on everything, then I wouldn't even bother coming on here. I like when there's good debates going on.

Anyways, things here really aren't that bad. I happen to love heated debates, it's good to believe strongly in something. Suggesting the TB get closed down...NO WAY!!
