A few weird things we saw people do on our trip

Last Wednesday we were entering AK and going thru the bag check. A guy had a cooler full of beer and they told him that it was not allowed in the park. He was upset that he couldn't bring it in there and asked for security. Another security guard came over and told him the same thing. In the meantime I am mad because now this guy is holding up the line for "beer". We, along with the other 10 people got out of line and went in the next one. My DH and I just couldn't believe that for x amount of hours in the park that this man who was there with his family, couldn't be without his beer.

Friday at MGM there was a rain storm and later as it stopped, I went to the Hat to get some pins. A man was complaining that for the amount of money he spent to get into the park, he should have his poncho for free. I had to laugh on that one.

Then on Sunday, we were entering MK and a family ahead of us went in and was complaining that the castmembers should wipe down the finger sensor for germs. Doesn't this person realize all the germs she will be touching inside the park or let alone in the bus. I know some people are germophics. If she was so worried about germs, we thought she would have carried around wipes or gloves herself.

In all the cases when DH and I spoke to the CM's we said just when they thought they heard it all, here comes another one.

If he wanted a free poncho, he should have brought one from home! Didn't he know before he left that it always rains in FL in August/early September? :)

While they are at it, I wish they would turn the heat down during the summer!

That's very funny (sad) but funny. I think that guy gets - "The Homer Award"

When we go to the parks we expect germs....we bring purell. It was really not that hard to come up with. Seriously, in the most magical place on earth, one can complain, really.......................

I was talking to a CM the other day at reservations and we got talking about the complaints they sometimes get. she told me she had had a call a few days before that from a woman calling from a park screaming about how hot it was! i couldn't believe it. But the CM said, just imagine how unhappy the woman must have been to call reservations and be on hold for 15 minutes just to complain about God....

I think that is pretty pathetic actually. :sad2:

I think it's fine to want to have a beer or two while at AK--didn't he know they sell it there? It's not surprising that he's a drinker, but dang, he's really just cheap! LOL LOL:lmao:

You're my new best friend :thumbsup2

Or how about those big groups that have been walking at a nice pace infront of you for quite some time and then stop all of a sudden to do a quick turnaround right infront of you? "Whoops, we missed our attraction!"

I hope they told the guy that they would replace his poncho for free if it ever ripped/tore or whatever. That would (should) have shut him up. They don't HAVE to do that but I sure am glad they do! I have one that ripped while we were there last. We kept saying "We need to replace this poncho." but in the next breath...."We'll do it on the way out." Needless to say, it never happened. (It's our DN's. We're gonna replace it when we go back next month.....FOR FREE!)

The old "I can't touch the sensor cause of germs" trick...
="I bought these discount tickets and it won't match my fingerprint"?:teeth:

To be honest, I actually read this thread to see if I had done anything weird that I wasn't aware of. Anyone else?

All kidding aside, this makes me sad. :sad2: I just hope he wasn't responsible for children during his trip.

I know for sure that I did at least two things last week that would be worthy of posting about on this board if anyone witnessed them. My husband did one weird thing involving a Brazilian tour group that at least 100 people witnessed. Gah, I can't take him anywhere. :lmao:
