We have never used uber before, and I just want to make sure I have it right.

1. How far in advance do you call? Can I arrange in the morning for Them to pick us up at noon? Or is it like a can that you do right away?

2. Staying poly. Can we call an uber to pick us up from the main entrance? Can they bring us from there to Epcot?

Uber is like a taxi only reasonably price so no need for reservation ahead..and no need. We used it about 10 times last trip..average trip wait was 5 minutes had one 10 min wait. They park nearby often. We learned not to text for one until in view of pick up spot. look for a code online before signing up and first ride is free. The pick up all over Disney. The parks all have specific spots u can research location ahead..and they sometimes change..Epcot in particular. Resorts each have spots and rules check out the uber threads lots of info already there. Yes front lobby pick is usual spot

Uber does allow one to schedule a ride in advance now. I haven't seen many reports from users saying how well it works. But it's really not necessary travelling around WDW; there are generally plenty of drivers around.

And O.P. - you can't call Uber, you can only request one from the app on your Android or I-phone.
