A few ?s about CSR

We're toying with our reservations (again) and I think we are gonna switch to CSR (or the "spider hotel" as my dd calls it). I love the themeing in the Ranchos section and don't really mind about it being a long way from El Centro. But is it worth it to book a waterview room if I'm going to request Ranchos? Do any of the rooms have a view of the lake or would we end up looking at the nearest puddle? I was also wondering about where all you can use the refillable mugs now - seems I remember reading that there are other locations besides the foodcourt where you can get the free refills. And, last question (for now) - what exactly is Rix? I was under the impression that it was an adults' dance club but I saw pictures and mentions of Rix Cafe. Is that something seperate? My family doesn't care much about views so it's up to you on that one- I'm not sure if you can see the lake from the Ranchos so it might be a pool view, which is not worth the money in my opinion.
You can use the mugs in both the Pepper Market and La Tienda convenience store, both in the main building. I'm not sure if you can use it at the poolside bar area.
Rix is an upscale little hangout place. The menu looked like it was fancy appetizers and an extensive bar. There is a dress code to get in. It was closed when I went by though (too early in the afternoon), but it was very nice looking. Much better than what was there before!

Ranchos 7b has views of the quiet pool. None of the ranchos have a lake view unless ranchos 6a rooms closest to casita 5 can get a glimpse of the lake.

Rix Lounge is separate from Cafe Rix. Cafe Rix has "to go" items and a new outdoor seating area was created. Lots of pics on the new CSR FAQ thread (Part III).

You can refill you mugs at the main pool during the bar/snack bar hours of operation.
