A few questions

Hello all, it's Jules here, with a few questions about DL and area....

1) Is there a 24 hour grocery store anywhere near DL? If my friend and I get into Anaheim later in the afternoon, (we will be coming May 4 2002) we will probably hit DCA first (what time does that close anyhow?) and then swing by a grocery store and pick up some essentials for our stay, and it would be convenient if there was something open 24hrs.

2) Do the DL/DCA and Anaheim area restaurants serve filtered water? I am a stickler for my water, and if it tastes icky, I like lots of lemon with it.

3) Is there anywhere I can buy any Mickey or Disney stationary? When I return, I am planning on putting together a little scrapbook to commemorate my first California trip, and thought it would be cute to print up my trip reports on disney notepaper.

4) Does anyone know what park (outside of Disney) carries Garfield merchandise? My friend is a Garfield fanatic, and I thought it would be cute to get her a little souvenier, or postcard.

I can't answer all your questions, but I think I can answer the one about water. I too drink only filtered water (when possible) and I can totally taste any "other things" that are in the water. On my last visit to DL, I ordered breakfast from buffeteria (Crystal Palace, I think), and I asked for water. The cashier pointed to a little water fountain type thing with cups and said, "Don't worry, it's Disney water." And it was fine!!!

I don't think you'll have a problem with stationery/scrapbok materials. Scrapbooking is "in" now, and I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find something.

Perhaps someone who has been there recently could shed more light?
