A few questions

Ok so I have a few questions instead of filling the boards with 100's of threads thought I would bombard you with them in one thread

1. Will we receive a package with tickets etc through the door? (booked flights included with virgin through Disney)

2. How do we claim our $200 Disney gift card?

3. Preferred viewing for fireworks is it worth it? We haven't bothered before but as we have DD now just wondered if may be it was a good idea. Knowing we could just stroll up and have some where to see the fireworks. Instead of waiting an hour before.

We have never done the preferred viewing before, but I have booked it for IllumiNations in Epcot this May. Didn't bother with the preferred viewing for Wishes, as from the comments on here it's a bit hit and miss. Watched it tonnes during the summer of 2011 when we worked in WDW and always managed to see everything no matter what time we strolled up and no matter how busy it was. We'll just do the same this May for Wishes

Yep, about a month before departure you get a thick white envelope with lots of stuff including:

Luggage tags (NOT Magical Express tags)
Your disney giftcard (a standard plastic card)
A booklet with lots of vouchers INCLUDING the two for the fireworks at MK and Epcot.

Mine arrived just before Chrimbo for our 22 Jan trip.

Thanks for the info about preferred fireworks viewing - just set up my ADRs today with the Poly Itinerary Planners, and they tried to tell me I didn't have preferred viewing for fireworks, and asked if I had a voucher or something. Now I know I will have a voucher coming for it.

Do you hand in the voucher at the roped off area?

To get the preferred fireworks viewing, you have to ring up WDTC and reserve it. Have you done that? You can do so 180 days before like ADRs, and I think you can book one of each preferred viewings for the length of your holiday.

I'm staying CL at the Poly, so I am leaving all my ressies to the Concierge service they offer to guests! They weren't aware, though, that UK guests get preferred fireworks viewing. They thought that only Premium and AAA bookings got it. I had to put them right.
