In the dark ages they called them Custom and something else, ours was considered Customer.

We did have a Coctail Hour, but it was more appetizers, punch, soft drinks and coffee as we decided not to have a bar.

It was in the Living Seas VIP room - we used half for the pre-reception and the other half for the reception itself.

We did have a DP at the Lower UK Terrace.

For transportation we used a bus to pick up guests and move them from the WP to EPCOT and then around EPCOT during the reception. We also had a limo that picked up DH/BM and the Dads, which then took DH and I plus BM and MoH from the WP to EPCOT after we did pictures. We then did a one-way limo from EPCOT to our wedding night room.

We did not have professional video, we had MoH's DF do the video. It cost us less to fly him out and attend the wedding than professional video would have and otherwise he would not have been able to go.

No Characters. DJ at the reception who played CDs of music from a prearranged list. He was great - even helped us with Grandma's birthday song. That venue would be really hard to have a live band beyond some strings, I think it would be too much. Others may have done it, and my memory may have faded because it was the dark ages of Disney FTW!
 
We are having an Escape (I think they used to be Intimate for the PP) at the Yacht Club Wedding Gazebo

We are not having a cocktail hour

We were going to have a DP but we wanted it at Sago Cay, when I booked the wedding the indoor backup location was booked for a conference so we couldn't book Sago. I talked with my mom and dad (and DF) and we decided to have a dinner somewhere. We ended up picking the Chef's Table at Victoria and Alberts as there are 10 of us total.

The dinner will take three to four hours taking the place of a reception and then we will watch Wishes from the beach at the GF.

My colours are dark red (with blue undertones) and ivory. Maybe 10 minutes, not sure yet.

Everyone will drive themselves to the YC and then the GF. We will be staying at the YC so we don't have far to go.

No videography, no characters, no dj or band, except for the violinist that comes with the pkg.

I think the ceremony is supposed to be 30min. tops. 20-30. I'm hoping for 20, lol.

People are gonna use their feet for transportation, lol. People will be using the buses, ferries, and their cars too. People staying at the YC will walk, people staying at ASM will take a bus to HS and the ferry from there to the YC, I think our guests staying at Shades of Green are going to have a car and will drive, as will our guests staying offsite.

No, we're not going to have characters.

No, we're not going to have a live band or DJ. We're going to be using my iPod.

How long was/is (hoping for) your ceremony? I'm thinking about 20 minutes. Our WP threatened my brother (our officiant) if it's any longer than 30 minutes. Right now we are at about 15...

What are/did you have for transportation? We are only using Disney Transportation between the ceremony and reception. We have a motorcoach to bring guests to AK since they can't drive themselves. Oh I take that back...we are also using a limo to get to the WP.

Are/Did you have a videographer? We hired Apex Media for the ceremony only (2 hours total)

Are/Did you have characters in your wedding We are having Mickey and Minnie in their Safari outfits

Are/Did you have a DJ/Live band etc.? No. We were very limited in our music choices since we are In-Park on an EMH night. Our reception is more of a themed dinner. We are brining an IPOD and docking station so that we can at least do our First Dance and have some background music.

What were/are your colors? They ended up being a mix of spring brights (yellow, pink, light blue, green). I didn't plan it so much as that's how it just happened.
How long was/is (hoping for) your ceremony? It was about 20 minutes.

What are/did you have for transportation? The limo was included in the package. We used it two days after our wedding to take us to Downtown Disney.

Where are/did you have your reception? We have booked a private meal at the Fresh:Mediterranean Market at the Swan and Dolphin

What are/did you have for transportation? Most guests are staying at the Swan and Dolphin and will walk to the wedding, everyone else will be picked up in the complimentary limo that comes with the escape package.

Are/Did you have a videographer? No - going to force a family member to do it!

Are/Did you have a wishes or escape wedding? Both, actually. We did the "legal" thing as an Escape (totally basic, two guests) and then had a Wishes for our family/friends/big party.

Are/Did you have a cocktail hour? Yes, but we just did the cheese plate and punch. It was WAY more than enough and the cheeses were high quality.

Are/Did you have a DP? Yes. Our reception was over by 3:30, so our guests had a break.

How long was/is (hoping for) your ceremony? :confused: I have spent lots of time trying to figure out the time line for the day, but am now waiting until we get our date confirmed to figure it all out.

What are/did you have for transportation? Motor Coach (hopefully only 1) for guests, Limo for us and bridal party, town car to pick me and DF up from reception and take us back to hotel.

Where are/did you have your reception? No reception; we had the cake cutting and champagne/punch inside Sunrise Terrace. After that, and lots of pictures, all of our guests dispersed to MK or DTD. DH and I had a private meal in our room :lovestruc.

What were/are your colors? Burgundy and Ivory - Burgundy because my favorite colors are red and purple and that sort of combined the two; Ivory because my gown was ivory and it blended very well with the Burgundy. We had touches of silver too.

What are/did you have for transportation? We didn't have anyone to transport. Daddy and in-laws were staying at WL; MOH shared my room with me at WL the night before the wedding; now- DH shared with Daddy (they got along very well); and the other few guests drove themselves over from their resorts. We used the package limo the next night to take us to dinner at EPCOT and to DTD to meet friends.

Are/Did you have a videographer? No; my sister wanted to tape it, but I didn't want it. I knew we'd never watch it and my memories of our wedding are completely perfect - I wouldn't want video that contradicted my memories.

Are/Did you have characters in your wedding No. It was probably the least "Disney" Disney wedding :laughing:
