A few questions...

We want to see Fantasmic, and I know that if you combine it with ADR at a restaurant, that you get priority seating. Could someone confirm this? Also, which restaurants can we do this at? One more question: Do we need ADR for 50's primetime cafe if it is for lunch? We are going from FEB 4-11th. Can we just show up and get seated? Thanks for the info!!!

For Fantasmic, you should try and book a Fantasmic Dinner Package (FDP). This can be booked at Mama Melrose, Hollywood and Vine and The Brown Derby. There is a price per person charge and I believe that you need a credit card to guarantee the package. I also believe that you will be charged if you "no show". The benefit of the package is that you will receive a special pass that lets you into the back entrance (by the stroller rental in the front of MGM) and into reserved seating for FDP patrons. This eliminates the necessity to arrive 1 1/2 - 2 hours before the show. You need to arrive about 30 - 40 minutes prior with the package.


I would abslolutely try and secure an ADR for 50's Primetime. On both of our last trips, they were turning away anyone without an ADR. Hope that helps.

I'd definately get a reservation for lunch at Prime Time. We ate lunch there in Oct during a fairly slow time and it was packed! I think a lot of people to MGM as a half day park so they're not there around dinner making lunch equally as crowded. Just my opinion. Our food there was some of the best...we really enjoyed it!

Absolutely make a dining reservation for 50's Prime Time. It is very popular and the dining plan is making it almost impossible to walk in to any sit down restaurant without a reservation.
Just to clarify with the Fantasmic Dinner Package.....there is no fee for this. Just the regular meal charge for the restaurant you choose. For more info on this go over to allearsnet.com.....dining.
