This is a cross-post, I also posted on the CreativeCommunity, but I figured with all the parents on this board, you might have some ideas!:thumbsup2

I am so loving photo books. They have been my saving grace since I do not seem to have time to scrapbook anymore! I have used Snapfish and My Publisher.
I was in heaven last year when Snapfish had 50% off their photo books with no limit :cloud9: , I created 8 different photo books!

So I am wondering who you use for your photo books?
Anyone know of any good deals?
Besides Disney photopass site, does anyone have any good places to create a great WDW experience photo book?

:flower3: TIA, Wendi

I used Shutterfly to do my entire 2007 album. I like their layout, design, and quality better than Snapfish. Not to mention I thought it was easier to navigate the system. I love doing my albums "online," every time there is an event, I download to Shutterfly and within a short time frame I have the entire page (or pages) done - stories and all. Then at the end of the year I was able to order it up. Last year they offered 30% off, I believe, of all their photobooks - and this year they actually sent me a link to make a 20 page book for free.

Wish I could help you with the Disney stuff - I've used the Photopass site to make trip albums for the past two years and the kids LOVE them - I can't tell you how often I have to go through those things with them.

Glad to meet another digital scrapbooker - I just can't seem to find the time for all the cutting and pasting either! :-)

I love the idea of scrapbooking, but I obsess way to much and it takes me forever! I actually paid someone to finish my last 2 scrapbooks, because I knew I was never going to get them done
I will try Shutterfly next and see how it compares.
I love My Publisher. The Snapfish book was just okay, buy hey I am not complaining because the price was right! :woohoo:

Most likely I will just use the Photopass for our Disney trip, it looks awesome and I really want to make that book stand out!

i've been using the walmart website for a few years now.

my MIL lives in FL and doesn't have a computer, so i can have all of our digital pictures printed using the online one-hour photo service at the walmart right down the street from her.

they have tons of different items you can make with the pictures as well (aprons, clocks, posters, etc). i have made a few photo books including one for our disney trip. you can pay shipping and have them sent to your home or have them sent to any walmart for free. i had one sent to my local walmart for us and one sent to my MIL's walmart. the cost is under $18 for a book with 20 pages and it's about $1.99 for each additional two pages.

they also have an option for making "scrapbook" pages in different sizes with disney characters. i have never done this, but my sister has done a few tinkerbell and princess pages for her DD.

What size book cost $18? And how do you think the quality is. Snapfish is a good deal, but I was disappointment that the photos looked a touch grainy.

I use picaboo and love it! Easy - Great coupon codes - Good Luck

Picaboo does look nice, it looks very similar to My publisher, but I think Picaboo might have more background choices. What kindof coupons do they offer and how do you get them?

I did Picaboo for my first Disney Trip, nice. Then I used Shutterfly for my Atlantis, Paradise Island Bahamas Trip, Great!! Shutterfly was really nice, especially with the outer book cover I was able to use a photos on the front and back of the book. :thumbsup2

Which did you like better Shutterfly or Picaboo?

Used Shutterfly for one for Christmas and was very happy with it. It did take the maximum expected shipping time but it was Christmastime and it had to cross the border (Canadian here).

I used Shutterfly to make a photobook and it came out great! Very happy with the quality and the options.

I collect Gifts to Grow points from Pampers and redeemed 100 points for a free 10x10 20 page book. I only had to pay S&H.

:rotfl: I too collect the points and just went to the site and ordered a book to try it! Can't beat the price!

I do digital scrapbooking using Creative Memories storybook creator. It's so much easier than traditional scrapbook, no set up no cleanup. They have all new disney digital layouts and embellishments. I'm so excited for my trip just so i can scrapbook it.

I did make a photobook for my sons pre-school class and i used snapfish.

If you google picaboo coupon codes theres always a good one out there. I have found the books to be a very high quality. My cousin uses a service called Heritage makers http://www.heritagemakers.com/- I have heard that is an amazing program but you need to pay for a membership. Good luck to you.

at walmart the $18 one is an 8.5 x 11 hardcover book.
(my recent disney book included over 150 photos and was $30.40-- i used different layouts, some with only one picture on a page, some with up to 9)

i thought the quality was good, but i have not used any other companies to compare. my photos do not look grainy, but the paper is different than the shiny paper you would normally have pictures printed on. (i did have a book printed once where a photo i had cropped in close looked like a different quality than a non-cropped picture on the same page. non-cropped photos look like regular picture quality.)

I make very simple books through photoworks, and I have enjoyed them. They are who I started using at DS's 1st birthday, and each year I've made him a matching year book. :)

But for a fancier book I've used shutterfly twice now, both times b/c I had a coupon for a free book. This last one I made is so cool! I made an 8 by 8 and the cover is shiny, I could put pictures and words and backgrounds on the front and back, and words and background even on the spine of the book. The inside was fun to make, though you can't quite see all the detail in the backgrounds. I like the books, especially this most recent one I made.

So I am working on my free Shutterfly book through pamper points today! I think I will also try the picaboo as soon as I find a coupon :thumbsup2
