I have heard that the golf carts run about 55-60 a day. is this correct? will i park them at my cabin or do i turn them in every night? Can i take it to the beach at night to watch the firworks? and most importantly - can i fit 3 girls ages 8, 10, and 14 (all of them fairly small) in the back seat? I know they will actually fit but are there rules against that?

1. Cart cost $60+tax for 24hr
2. You can park it at your cabin over night
3. you can take it to the beach area for the firework but not on the beach
4. your 3 girls will fit on the cart in the back seat there mite be a rule but Disney does not enforce it I have seen 10 people on 1 cart
5. Have a great trip

Lots more info on Golf Carts at the Fort - including MUCH cheaper off-site rental companies - in THIS THREAD

You must have seen us! :rolleyes1

Just remember,,think safety first when it comes to buggies.
Now I'm not say'n only four to a buggie (but Disney does, but apparently does not enforce).
But I am say'n that when someone falls off a over loaded buggy, it's usually not pretty,,,
particularly when it's a child.

just say'n,,think safety.

We were sitting in the parking lot at the Fort and a guy pulled up next to us with a trailer full of carts. He saw us writing down the number on the side of his truck and he came over and gave us some cards. He was from Golf & Electric Vehicles in Orlando He told us they rent four and six seaters by the week.

Not sure how long he's been delivering carts this way, but the consensus is that the reason Golf Cart Enterprises can no longer deliver to the Fort is because they were doing this very thing - showing up with a big company flatbed truck with multiple carts and handing out business cards. That is until Disney told them they were no longer allowed to "conduct business" on Disney property.

There are rules for the golf carts like you must be 16 to drive, and only 4 per cart, however these are the two more BROKEN rules. You can drive right past cast members and they do not say a word.

So yes, you can fit 3 girls in the back.

Yes, you keep the cart at your cabin for your entire trip and can drive it to the golf cart parking area near the beach at night.
