A few Q's about the Land portion of the Land and Sea package

Hello All,
I have a few questions, some may be easy some may be hard.
The first day we arrive I am assuming we need to check in at our resort to get our KTTWC. Will the room be ready? If not, will we have access to the room for towels (We are going to BB that morning and need the towels). Also, if the rooms are not ready what do we do with our stuff? Will the CBR hold it until we return. When should the room be ready? After 4pm?
What time should we arrive to check in for the CBR. I am assuming there will be other people there to pick up their KTTWC. I was thinking 8am. Should I go earlier or is that a good time. (Bearing in mind I am aware that the room will probably not be ready.. depending on what you guys say of course. I will be there to register, get my parking pass and get my KTTWC)

Hi there...

When you arrive - definately check in at your resort.
If your room is not ready they will still give you your key cards - just not the room number - you can call for it later or check at the front desk when you get back from BB.

Check in time is normally 3:00pm.. I have never had to wait this long.. usually 12:00 - 1pm is about the latest I have waited. Sometimes I have lucked out and my room has been ready earlier. It depends on how busy the hotel is.

The Bellman will store your luggage for you until you are back later.

Blizzard Beach provides towels... you do not need to take towels with you from the hotel. So it may be a good idea to have your swimsuits, hat, lotion, sunglasses, ready in a separate tote bag so you do not have to search through your luggage for blizzrd beach gear.

If you really want to have a towel with you - jst go grab one from the towel dispensing area at the pool.

There are lockers at BB if you need them.

We are leaving on the 29th of April, driving down to arrive for the morning of the 1st of May to maximize the package.

Thanks for your info, one follow up question though, I was under the impression that BB rents towels for 1 dollar a piece? I guess I misunderstood the WDW website.
Also, how early should we arrive to check in/dropoff luggage. Is 8am too early or too late?

We'll be checking into our hotel in the early AM on the day our package starts too. Not sure if we'll be at the airport Hyatt or at the Swan/Dolphin the night before. (Coming from the West coast, we didn't want to use a day traveling, so we need to just get a room the night before. I'm assuming that we can stow our luggage at our package hotel, get our cards (keys) and actually check into our room later in the afternoon.
