Sorry to keep loading on the questions, I lurked here for a long time, but now that I am two weeks away the questions are a flying!!!

1. Are flotation devices permitted in the goofy pool, i.e. the floats for the arms (water wings) or life jackets? My DS's are 5,7, and 9, and I know the older two will prefer the goofy pool, but my DS 5 will not be able to touch bottom. Being the youngest of 3 boys, I'm sure he will think he is too cool for the Mickey pool, (except for the water slide of course!!!)

2. If my kids eat lunch with the kids club what kind of meals do they get? Do they get to pick out their food in a buffet, or menu, or are they given a tray full of food with no choices? I will have kids in the 5-7 and 8-9 age groups.

3. If we arrive at the port around 1:00, will will encounter crowds and lines to board?

4. If we don't get to the palo's reservations until 1:30 or 2:00 pm will we still be able to get Brunch reservations on either Monday or Thursday? (we're sailing the Eastern Itinerary)

5. What time do the embarkation buffets close?

Thanks for all the advice so far, I really appreciate knowing that I am as prepared as I can be. (My husband thinks I'm obsessed, but that is nothing new, I do it on every trip we go on!!!)

When we cruised the last time water wings were allowed. The pool isn't that big though and even my older daughter who was 9 at the time liked the Mickey pool with the slide better. That worked out great for her sister who was 5. Just watch the height requirements on the slide because of the kids in our group was too short but the other 3 were OK.

If you have your kids in the children's areas during meals they take them up to the Topsiders Buffet. Once my kids found this out, they didn't want to eat with us anymore!

We got to the port around 1 and didn't have a problem. I think Disney staggers their busses coming from the airports and hotels as to avoid a mass rush.

If you don't get to Palo until 1:30 or 2:00 for reservations, you should still be able to get brunch reservations on the day you want. If you're arriving at the port at 1:00, make Palo reservations (I think they do it at one of the clubs now) your first stop once you board.

Not sure about the lunch buffets, but I think they keep them open most of the afternoon. If I had to guess, I'd say they will be open until a half-hour or so before the lifeboat drill.

With the young kids, 3-4 yr olds) they have them sit at the table and they bring a plate of food to them. The have a well balanced meal and whatever more the kid wants, the CM will get it for them.
