Cinnamon Cheese Roll-Ups

1 (16 oz. loaf) white bread
1 (8 oz. package) cream cheese - softened
1 egg yolk
3/4 cup Confectioners sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 and 1/2 teapsoon cinnamon
3/4 cup butter or margarine - melted

Preheat over to 350 degrees.

On wax paper (to prevent sticking) flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin and remove the crusts. (Or remove the crusts prior to flattening. Whatever you prefer.)

In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, the egg yolk, and the Confectioners sugar. Mix very well.

In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and the cinnamon.

Spread 1 Tablespoon of the cheese mixture on each slice of bread. Roll up jelly-roll style. Dip each roll in the melted butter and then roll in the cinnamon mixture.

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet(s).

Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Anything with blueberry's sounds good to me...

Thanks C. Ann all sounds good, but I need to replace the blueberries (ick) with some other fruit.

That or apple. :)

I don't see why not.. :)

In between my "coloring" today (LOL), I was copying over a bunch of recipes and found some pretty interesting stuff.. Some aren't terribly healthy - LOL - but they sure sound good..;)

Ohh I love to color.

Yup the recipes that aren't healthy always taste the best. :lmao:
