A few dumb questions...

I feel like I should know the answers to these already just based on the amount of time i've spent on this site.. BUT..

I'm planning our first trip (Oct 1-8.. i start make ADR's tomorrow morning, YIKES!), and I'm a little confused about extra magic hours.. i know they're only for people staying in a disney resort, which we are NOT, we're staying offsite.. and it says that MK closes at 9, but Wishes starts at 9? How does this work? Is it only for people who have access to extra magic hours?

Also whats with the two different hours for epcot? What if I have a reservation for breakfast at 8:30 and the park doesn't open until 9?

I dont know about the first but im sure having an early reservation allows you into the park early as long as you have the confirmation to show the cm's at the ticket gate.

if i member correctly you cant ride the rides that are open when the EMH starts but you can still look around and shop. i could be wrong

for the first question~ you can stay for wishes...as many ppl will wait around for it, but you wont be able to ride the rides after and there will be many CMs directing ppl towards the exits

yea, its like a two way traffic jam....oh, and by the way......evening EMH is not all its cracked up to be anyhow.

1. Whether there are evening EMH hours or not, Wishes will be at "closing" time. Everyone can stay for Wishes and then leave the park.

2. Epcot has different hours for Future World & World Showcase. Future World is open from 9am-7pm and World Showcase is open from 11am-9pm. Some attractions in FW will be open past 7pm, but not all. Illuminations will always be at 9pm (except Christmas time) and is for all guests onsite & off. As for breakfast reservations, you can go to an 8:30am ressie without being an onsite guest. When you get to the turnstiles you'll have to give your name to a CM who will check that you do have an ADR.
