1. Can you have a starter and a dessert only, rather than entree/dessert?

2. Where is a nice place for a c.s breakfast on an early emh at Magic Kingdom? Preferably a monorail resort hotel.

3. How do you keep track of how many credits you have left?

4. We're going to be staying at Old key west - is Olivias good for a couple of T.S. breakfasts?

5. Can you top up your plan if you are using too many credits, conversely, if you have lots of credits left at the end of your stay can you use them in the gift shops etc.

6. Is Rainforest cafe at Animal Kingdom not included on the plan?

This is all hypothetical at the moment, dependant on there being free dining in 2010.;)

Thank you. :)

1. The official answer is, "No."

2. not sure

3. It will be on the bottom of the recipt.

4. not sure.

5. No and No

6. It is not.

1. Can you have a starter and a dessert only, rather than entree/dessert? - Yes, it is permitted to exchange your entree for an appetizer.

2. Where is a nice place for a c.s breakfast on an early emh at Magic Kingdom? Preferably a monorail resort hotel. - My favorite breakfast is Main St Bakery in the Magic Kingdom

3. How do you keep track of how many credits you have left? - It is printed on the bottom of your receipt when you use the dining plan.

4. We're going to be staying at Old key west - is Olivias good for a couple of T.S. breakfasts? - I have never stayed at OKW, or eaten at Olivias.

5. Can you top up your plan if you are using too many credits, conversely, if you have lots of credits left at the end of your stay can you use them in the gift shops etc. - No 'topping' of the plan is permitted. You, of course, may pay OOP for anything additional you need. Dining credits have no 'value' so extra credits cannot be exchanged at gift shops. Dining credits must be used for the food entitlements that they're intended for. Occasionally you can use a TS for CS, but some have had to exchange that at their resort concierge.

6. Is Rainforest cafe at Animal Kingdom not included on the plan? - No

That's a bit disappointing - I thought I had read that you could use left over credits for boxes of cookies/ bags of crisps and drinks from the resort shops?
Oh well I'm sure we could make use of them at DTD when we have checked in for our flight home.

You can always use your snack credits for snack items from the gift shops.

It's reported that most if not all restaurants will allow you to exchange your ENTREE for an appetizer. What you may not do is exchange your DESSERT for an appetizer.

You may not use snack credits for anything that is not considered a single serving item. A box of cookies or a bag of chips is permitted only if it is a small one that is meant to serve one person only.

And you may use them in the resort shops. The previous poster may have though you were asking if you can use them for non-food items. Of course, you may only use snack credits for single-serving food items.

You can't use CS or TS credits for snacks in the shops unless you can get them converted to snack credits. Don't know at this time if that will be permitted for any reason in 2010.
