A few Crocs questions!

Been thinking of getting some Crocs for our trip, we just noticed yesterday in our Next directory they are stocking ladies and mens Crocs!! Price £30 which isn't bad.
How do you order the right size, I've heard they should be loose on the feet?
What's the best place to get them from??
Anyone got them from Ebay and what was the price??
How comfortable are they when touring the parks in humidity and is it ok to wear them bare foot??
Anyone used Jellyegg to purchase their Crocs?? Their site looks good!
I have wide feet and I hear Crocs are very comfy

I have just bought two more pairs, I have lived in them since May due to my horrendous knee problems, without them I would not have managed hardly anything this holiday. The only thing is that they do get a bit sweaty, and rub a bit if the temps up to say 25 deg, and they are not glamorous. I was fine at Christmas, and the temps were around that some days, but I slip them off whenever I'm sat down to "air". I wear with socks at home with trousers (not shorts!!), I just bought some Athens (closed in) for winter wear here.

I'd make sure you get Beach (Caymen are narrower) and try them on, the ones I bought in the US had totally different sizes printed on the Athens and Beach models compared to my UK bought ones even taking US sizing into account. Price in US $29.99

How about finding out what size you take and then buying them from the crocs shop at Orlando airport. That's what I did last year and I am going to do it again this coming September.

I've used Jellyegg to purchase both pairs of my crocs. I went for my normal size which fit snuggly, when I get some more next month in Orlando I will probably go for the next size up. They are so comfortable and woudl recommend them to anyone.

Yes, beware on tiled floors etc - they are very slippy
I wear my Athens to the gym (in an attempt to defeat 'athletes foot' etc) and it's pretty dangerous on the way back from the showers......

I'm a UK size 7 and have bought US 9s and UK 7s with no problems.
My first Crocs were Athens (flip flops) and, more recently, I've bought the Caymen.

Had to wear my Caymens with socks / tights for a few days but they're great now

I wore mine on holiday and they were brilliant! I was able to keep going in the parks for a good few hours more then normal. I also got mine from Sweetfeet shoes and they were very good, nice and quick.

I bought my 2 pairs from the 2 websites mentioned and had no problems with either site. I couldn't have survived in Orlando without them as they were so comfy. Sizing is tricky though. I am a size 4 so the first pair I ordered was the Cayman in a 4 but found these just huge on me so sent them back and got a kids size 2 instead. Next I got some scrutes in a Size 4 and found these much tighter. They can get a bit sweaty if it is hot so I wore some anckle socks on some days.

When we went to Canada in the summer my dad bought some in a size xxl (13), he loves them so much that as soon as we saw the disney ones i promised him a pair for xmas. We came back last week and i managed to get him some of the Mickey ones but they seemed to be a lot bigger then his original. Has anyone else found that there is a difference in the sizes?

Given average wear and tear, will I get a year out of them?

I wore my 'Athens' almost constantly over the summer and they became very loose and 'squidgy'
Also the tread on the soles wore away, more or less, completely so I bought another pair......

That's it then I've put mine away until just before we go LOL, our mad moggie Bill thinks they are chew toys for himmay be he will forget about them for a while if they are kept out if site and reach of him He's a rescued cat I dread to think how he used to live before he came to us

Buy big definately and I found that a solid summer of wearing them really wore the tread down but they are still fine for slobbing around in. The first pair I got were not tight but my toe knocked on the end so sloppy is the way to go.

I just wish I could wear mine.....as soon as we got back from Orlando last summer, my DD pinched mine and has been wearing them ever since!!!!
My mum is out there at the moment and has strict instructions to get DD her own pair... even if I have to pay out twice!!!

these shoes were originally designed to be boating shoes so they should defintely be non slip! However, if the tread has worn down then they are lethal and only good as slippers!

The US shoes sizes are 2 sizes above ours...for women anyway.. mens are the same. so if you buy a US Medium womens 8-9, that is a 6 - 7 Uk size..
