A few college kids' spring mission trip gone wrong... Please read!

A few of my friends have done humanitarian work in Mexico and Guatemala for a number of years. This week they were set to drive to Guatemala with 1,000 pairs of shoes to donate through the Soles4Souls(.com) program. They have encountered terrible setbacks and they need our support!! I'm not familiar with the laws in other countries regarding this matter, but I am familiar with the kindness of all my fellow DIS'ers! I reported this to practically every e-mail I could find at Soles4Souls - just in case they didn't know yet (and, nothing personal, also to make sure it was a legitimate report). One of the main people just now e-mailed me back and said that details are still coming in and that they are working on it.

Tuffcookie, it is true.

I just received another e-mail from Mr. Elsey, they are still working to resolve the situation. Hopefully the shoes will eventually get to the people who need them.
