A few quick questions:

How far from the Intl Gateway is Beaches and Cream? How long of a walk? Or is there a faster way?

I know they don't take ADRs- are there any "safe" times to go for little/no wait? Is 1:30ish for lunch ok? What about 4/4:30 for dinner?

Thanks!!

1. 10 minute walk maybe

2. Not really

3. It can depend on the time of year. We got there at 1:30 on day where there was not another sole in site in the boardwalk area besides Storm a Long Bay (we only passed maybe 12 people as we walked around and more than half were construction workers) and we waited 20 minutes.

I would say your best options for eating times would be as soon as they open (I think 11am?) or between 2:00-4:00pm.

This all depends on time of year though. We went once in late January, around 1pm and we only waited 15 minutes for a table (party of 2). It was very low crowds at the parks that week. We tried to go another year in August around that time and it was jam packed with no hope of getting a table anytime soon.

It's fastest to walk to B & C - maybe 5 -7 minutes.

There is a Friendship Boat, but it'll take a lot longer. I would take it only if you just want to enjoy a boat ride because it will first go across the lake to the Boardwalk, then to the Yacht and Beach Club. Also the dock is well past B&C. The walk back from the dock to B&C is probably about the same distance as from the IG to B&C.

We usually drive to B&C so i can't comment on the walking.

We usually go at "off" times, like a 2pm lunch or an 8pm dinner and have had to wait 20 mins at the most.

Also a side note: I so wish Beaches & Cream could be expanded. I know there is no extra room to do this but it's sooooooo popular and seats so few people :(

Definitely walking from International Gateway is the fastest. We took the boat over one time because we had no idea how close it was. We walked back and beat the boat with ease.

Thanks for the replies!
One more question- will be obvious which way to go once we get out of the IG? Or should we ask a CM to point us the right way?

It's pretty easy. Head out IG, walk past the boats and then go left over the bridge and you'll get to the Boardwalk.

Here's a map for you. If you drag it up slightly, you'll see the walkway from IG and the bridge that I referenced.

Beaches and Cream is at the Beach Club, not the Boardwalk. Stay to the right and the Beach Club will be on your right. Beaches and Cream is in the "middle" of the Beach Club.

Duh! I don't know why I was thinking Boardwalk. That's the Boardwalk Bakery. Thanks for the correction.
