I know there are a ton of BC threads, and these questions are likely address somewhere within them, but I have a couple of ?'s

Are the 1BR's spread throughout the property, or is there one location within each tower that contains the 1BR's (I'm assuming there are less 1BR's that 2&3)?

Supposedly it will have a balcony.
What if it's a first floor room not facing the lake? I'm guessing it's just a little outside are with a couple of chairs.... :confused3

How long is the check in process?
I really don't want to be pestered all day about buying something I have zero interest in owning.

Is parking relatively close and how much is it per day?

I'm leaning toward staying at BC, but still undecided....

Is parking relatively close and how much is it per day?parking is free and depending on building and crowd and time of day may be a small hike but you can drop off stuff and then move car.

If you are not staying at BC where are you looking. I will never stay anywhere but BC unless its free and then I would even have to think about it

Thanks :)

I'm still considering our usual Buena Vista Suites stay, or something else if the price is right. It's just the 3 of us and it's only 5 nights.

BVS includes a decent breakfast which would run us roughly $20 each morning otherwise, but they charge for wifi if I don't have a coupon.
(Last year I got free wifi and 2 free meals at their restaurant since we stayed more than 3 nights)

This year we are building in a day to hang at the hotel/resort this time as 3 parks in 3 straight days can be a killer. BVS has a pool, but it's just a pool, nothing special.

A couple more:

Is there only 1 playground or multiple?

Is there a height requirement for the water slides or lazy river?

1 BRs are scattered throughout the property. They are far more rare than 2 BR units and are often booked early by super renters looking to flip them into larger units. You sometimes see good deals on them at the last minute.

Checking in has never taken me more than 20 minutes. They send you to get a parking pass where you will likely be invited to attend a presentation. Saying no works every time. They may call your room to try again -- we never answer. To me this is the most overblown worry about people thinking of staying there.

Parking is right next to the tower you are staying in. There is also a parking garage. Parking is free.

There is one playground area. There are also 2 activity centers, free mini golf and all the pools.

The height rule on the water slides is 48 inches and taller

1. One bedrooms are spread throughout the property. If it's on a first floor not facing the lake, it will be facing a parking lot with a patio. My friend was in Tower 5 in one of those this past May, but she had originally been assigned a one bedroom (also in Tower 5) facing the parking lot on a high floor. She went back and asked for a lower floor as she does not like elevators. We were in Tower 4 in a second story one bedroom facing the lake, so of course had the balcony.

2. Check in was a breeze. After a quick checkin for the room, they sent me to get the parking permit. Per advice received here on the DIS, I didn't take the rest of my family in with me (my mom stayed in the car and my husband went to bell services to pick up her ECV), so they thought I was alone on the trip, so would be unable to purchase. I also checked the lowest income on the form. The lady never even mentioned the time share pitch.:rotfl: She quickly handed me the parking permit and I was away from there in maybe one or two minutes and never received a call all week.

3. Parking is free and right outside each building. If you need a handicap space though, you may have a problem. They really don't have enough handicap parking. We usually had to drop my mom off at the front door of our tower and she waited for us while we parked in the garage and then brought her ECV to her.

We loved Bonnet Creek and will be returning Sept 14th-22nd, Dec 6th-16th, and again in late April/early May. I have the Sept and Dec trips booked already but have not yet booked the April/May trip. We stayed there for the first time this past May and just fell in love with the resort and can't imagine staying anywhere else now.

Thanks :)

Honestly I don't remember how many playgrounds they had. I do remember seeing one though. They also have a kids water play area behind the main building. I remember thinking my four y/o grandson would have loved it. There is a height limit on the water slides, but I wasn't paying attention to what it was. Sorry! I remember seeing little kids in floaties and little swim boats in the two lazy rivers with their parents though. They have two activity centers with planned activities during the day and also a free mini golf course (just check out the clubs and balls). They also have free grills you can use with covered picnic table areas to eat if you are interested. Then they also have cabanas you can rent.
